Kids these days will never know the pain of trying to learn Japanese when the internet barely existed. 😁 Apparently they will also never know Cardcaptor Sakura 😅
Loretta is great 👍 Speaks so well 👏 And useful information for who is learning Japanese language😊 Nice sharing😃🤗🥰 Thank you for this video💖💝 Happy weekend🌈🍀☀️
Great interview guys!! Japanese is such a beautiful language, but a specially hard one 😬!! I was trying to learn Japanese like Loretta but unfortunetly I quit because it was very hard for me to learn and understand!! But I'm not giving up and returing my studies some day!!! Thank you guys for uploading :)))
Great interview I enjoyed watching😍👏🏻 Loretta is amazing how she loved the language and learned it and became a good speaker in it😊❤ I really love the Japanese language and how unique it is🇯🇵❤ I really like to enjoy all the things about Japanese language and I hope one day I can learn it🥰❤

@@syrbros.fromtokyototheworld yeah, you should also visit Angkor Wat. By the way if you have free time on Sunday 25th this month. Can we meet at Hibiya park?
@@syrbros.fromtokyototheworld Oh yes. I still listen to their music from those early generations. So good. For a while AKB48 surpassed them but who will win the long end. :) Thank you for making videos. :)
@@syrbros.fromtokyototheworld no problem! keep it up y’all still young and have a lot of potential to be very big one day keep doing what your doing and eventually it will all pay off. 💪🏼 and thank you i’m trying 😅
I would also like to learn Japanese because I find it very melodious and pleasant to speak.😉 Indeed! Were the cries behind the scene for Huey's brother/sister?😄
I think watching something with subtitles has two problems. Either you use e.g. English subtitles and don't focus on the Japanese or you have to know Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana well enough to keep up with the video. But getting a lot of input, be it through books or shows is really important. My method for learning Kanji: 1. Re-order them based on components and then learn in that order, e.g. 山, 拙. 岩, 炭, 岐, 峠 I'm assuming you already know all the other components and 山 is the only new one. Thought I think that method might be harder for kids as it can mean that some rather abstract and complex concepts pop-up early while other Kanji like tree might show up later. 2. Learning = create a mnemonic, a short story, for each character. The crazier the story, the more likely you are to remember it. E.g.: 嵐 = In a *storm*, the mountains are swept away by the wind. Notice how I integrated 山 (mountain) and 風 (wind) in the kanji, even in stroke-order. Btw, the meanings of each character are not always 1:1 translations from Japanese. 3. Try to find at least one vocabulary word for each Kanji. Make sure it's a word that's useful to you so you don't forget it. That should give you at least 1 reading for that kanji. 4. Read a lot! Reading really helps to get the kanji in your brain (and learn new vocab). Repeat it for as many Kanji as you need to learn. All the other readings of each kanji will pop-up eventually in vocabulary (e.g. from TV shows or books) you regularly use and you just learn them through that vocabulary. If you do it regularly, I think about 1 or 2 years is a good estimate for all the 常用漢字. Is this method perfect? Nope. But it does get one very far in a very short amount of time and the rest comes through input. Same as with vocabulary. You may learn a thousand words, but only through listening to native speakers and not your language learning class-mates will you learn in which context it is appropriate to you which word. This is especially true for when to use 敬語 and when not to. There are good general rules about it, but the details come through input. Btw, how many kanji do you guys know and how many of them can you write (estimates)?
Thank you so much for watching this video and leaving such a long heartfelt message😃 We really appreciate the support and we think that your method of learning Kanji is incredible😊 To answer your question I think we know about 1500 Kanji☺️
@@syrbros.fromtokyototheworld Thx for the answer. My goal is to learn all 常用漢字 with at least 1 on'yomi and one kun'yomi reading per kanji by summer next year (🤞 that I have the time to get it done. Only 1.4k more kanji to go). And then the grind begins as there are no longer limitations on what I can or can't read as looking up words is easier when you know the letters. ^^ Btw, if you want to get your hands on some in my opinion harder English books: A Song of Ice and Fire series (epic fantasy), The Witcher series (Fantasy).
