- So in this video we are moving right along with the house renovations. We are still painting doors, buying new light fixtures and starting the build of my custom closet. We are currently starting renovations and cosmetic work to the home. It is truly stressful because there are two of us with different styles living here so we often bump heads on how everything should look. Thank you so much for these videos. Blessings.
Get an empty spray bottle, pour 1/2 of the bottle with fabric softer and 1/2 with hot water, then shake it and spray it onto the wall paper, let it sit for awhile and it should come down much easier
Love your videos! I’m renovating too. I have eggshell outlets, switches etc too (ugh). I found an inexpensive white doorbell cover on Amazon that I just popped the old cover off and popped on the new one.
Color looks like a light "greige". Combination of grey and beige. I used to think that neutrals like this were boring, but now, I love them. Wishing you Godspeed on your journey. Day by day, you are making it happen girl!

Renovations are definitely stressful! Even more so than building a new construction home like I did last year. So cool that you’re doing this yourself and also getting the family involved...truly sweat equity! Kudos to you and stay motivated 👍🏽. There’s nothing better than owning real estate.
Miss April - The easy way to remove wallpaper - MIX FABRIC SOFTNER WITH WATER IN A BUCKET AND WIPE THE WALLS WITH IT. The wallpaper will melt off the walls like butter!

Agreed home renovations are extremely stressful...and rewarding when the end is in sight. Just think you are taking on an entire whole house renovation and managing the entire project yourself. I’ve renovated a few of our homes and it’s stressful when all the rooms have projects and none are complete before others are started. You’re doing an awesome job but take a few days off and relax and do nothing related to updating the house. As long as you can still meet your deadlines.
You know I loved your channel when I still remember what the finished product look like (where you left off) but I’m still watching every episode again I’m glad your back❤️

For the wall paper to come off easier mix water and vinegar together and I swear it will slide off the wall....literally

Ikkey73 yes. Just spray the wall wait 5 minutes and it then take your scraper. It will peel off

Hi April, you are doing amazing and the end result will be beautiful. Renovations are stressful, but worth it in the end. We recently renovated our kitchen and redid our floors and boy was that hard? It is been almost a month and I still have things everywhere :( Keep it up!!
You have great people helping. The electric knows his job. He's going to show YOU how to change them out. I don't mess with electricity like that ☺. The drywall guy is really good the way he slaps that mud on the wall. Your sister is practicing her vlogging☺. I am looking forward to seeing the completed renovations. It's all worth it in the end.
