What I dont understand is..why Elvis was not given a military funeral. .Elvis was a veteran, Elvis served his country' but was given a very different service so quickly.
Just thinking maybe he never requested a military funeral. Even though he was a vet you don't have to have a military funeral. Family chose otherwise. Military funerals are sad when they fire those guns but it's a beautiful ceremony~

Billy, I like Robert, would love a visit to New Orleans. The spots he visited, where he stayed, his apartment with his sister and father where he lived in the movie, King Creole. The boathouse area with E and Carolyn Jones. Maybe next few adventures? I follow you always. Avid fan of Elvis since I was 9yrs old. Greatest entertainer ever! Thanks again for all you do~~

I was stationed in Giessen and Heilbronn. I lived in Frankfurt in the 1970’s. I love Germany.

Hi Billy thanks again for another insightful video!..when you were asking the shop keepers questions..and no one knew notta..it put me in mind of first time we went too tupelo..and stopped at convenient store..pretty close to Elvis' home place..we asked clerk..for directions too Elvis Presley's home place..the clerk..said Elvis who?..she didn't even know who Elvis was..my husband and I just couldn't believe these people are just that ignorant..that they don't even know any information..and especially said Elvis who!.. thanks again for sharing!.. your friend Bonnie

“Helden [heroes] - 1914-1918,” while the real workmen look on with puzzlement. (See photo below.) The memorial was moved again after 1958, but it’s still in Steinfurth, which is now part of Bad Nauheim.

I lived there my dad was in company c and D company victory or death I ate in the Elvis mess haul on thanksgiving in 1984
Yeah the church was on the right I was a alter boy there on post there were the bandits so sad it's closed financially I would love take my daughter there to show here were I grew up I was there from 1983 to 1985 flew twa back then when flying was flying lux style good vid

They had the canopy steak house on listed officers club memories thanks I hope you go back now there's no military housing in bad nauhiem but there's some in Friedburg
We lived in the military apartments in there was a snail embess which was a fast food stayed I went to 6 grade there in bad nauhiem and there was a commissary and military px there was military bused to Frankfurt Jr high [

Wish I had been with you. I would have taken you to see some sites in Butzbach, a little town that was the center , pretty much between Giessen, Bad Nauhiem and Ray Barracks. Thanks Billy :)

Miss the German Chocolate and pastries and so much more. A shame Mrs. Lori was not there with you. A great guy to get jewelry for his wife and chocolates too for your wife. Loving this series Billy !!! Went to Graceland for the first time this year (I'm from Australia) but I've been a lifelong fan. Next time we go to Germany we'll be checking out these sights. Cheers from Downunder !!!

Love your videos as, without getting to philosophical, we are separated from Elvis by 2 things, time & space.
When we visit these places we are separated only by time. It brings Elvis closer.

It does seem like you have an almost endless list of things to film.
I think one of my favourites is the one where Elvis got off the train in Memphis to walk home to Audubon Drive.
The unique point to that was that he was so famous yet could just walk home like any ordinary person.
Really amazing time in his story.

Hello Spa Guy. First of all, I have to give you my heartfelt compliments for the fantastic videos. I myself have been a big Elvis Fan for 45 years. I live in the Netherlands and this year we are going to Bad Nauheim again. There is a big Elvis Festival there every year. Normally we go to Bad Nauheim when it is a bit quieter. We then have the opportunity to view everything at our leisure. In this video you were looking for the memorial stone to the 1st world war. If you go to Germany again. This stone was moved by Elvis's unit to the cemetery in Steinfurth. And it still stands there. Unfortunately I cannot add a photo of this monument here. Continue this fantastic work. Greetings, Marc

No the door was always on the left side.. That middle window according to Elisabeth is where the piano was and there are pics of Elvis playing the piano with Elisabeth in the photo..

I have heard the as well but there is clearly a photo of them somewhere eating and the locals stated it was there..

@@SpaGuy we truly appreciate your videos. Especially where Elvis was in a foreign country like Germany. It's so sad that he never ventured out of the US after returning from Germany, so seeing Elvis in Germany or France is a bit like seeing a ufo in the sky...very rare.
A little quote in your story: "People will not move they will walk right into you." I always found that strange. When I use to work downtown and had to walk the streets people would not move, and it's all ages. I thought this was very ignorant on their part. It seemed I was the only one that ever moved they never even made an attempt too. So one day I figured I'm not going to move and walk with my head down see how many people crash into me. Sure enough I didn't go very far before a girl did looking straight at me. And she didn't say one word. I was the one to have to say excuse me. lol
