I just want to say THANK YOU for posting atla content and cooking from the book and going so in depth the way that you did!!! As an atla lover myself it makes me so happy to see all the videos u make about it (I watched all the food related videos and loved the trivia!!) especially as a black woman doing it I feel so understood and happy 🤣❤️ thanks a million
That is so incredibly sweet! I didn't realize until I started posting how few black women were posting about atla and anime alike. Which is odd because there are a lot of us. I'm so glad you liked the content. You truly brought a smile and warmth to my day. 🥰
Sokka : [in a frightened, dramatic voice] Food eats people! [pauses]. Sokka : Also, Momo could talk. [to Momo]. Sokka : You said some very unkind things.
I just ordered this book yesterday and I'm so excited to try everything. Especially water tribe recipes (idk why). I've only been into the series for about a week now but it's grown on me so fast
That’s so crazy! I’ve know this series since forever so I haven’t met many people who are barley starting out with it. I hope you enjoy the show!!! Water tribe had some very interesting recipes but the Fire Nation is my favorite by far!
Thank you for this beautiful video!! I absolutely LOVED your commentary and honest/fun nature while commenting on your thoughts! Thank you for the fun video! I can’t wait to try all this!
Blooming means waiting until the geltain and the sugars as well as the temperature of the water, react with each other. It should stiffen slightly. But if you don't see any change, or feel any change, it did not bloom. Meaning there is an agent, maybe the sugar or usually the temperature of the water, is missing and no reaction can happen. Or worse, the wrong reaction happens. It's all science, fun science! I hope you give it a try!
I unfortunately can not change the batteries from my smoke alarm. You see, that sound keeps my family from turning into flesh eating monsters. That ding is the only thing saving my neighbors, and myself. So, hear that ding with pride. 😎
You know, I see what they were going for... Sweet and savory... Maybe if you cut the jalapenos smaller it would be good, but I think chili pepper seeds or toasting some sort of spice and combining it with the strawberry? Or maybe use cherries instead? Or pomegranate! Have you ever eaten a spicy pomegranate?? This is a real question.

"Everyone eats meat here, Aang. Even the meat!" - Sokka, on Fire Nation cuisine

He's not wrong: I've seen a chicken eat KFC and heard of pigs eating any kind of meat.......also fish eat smaller fish......
It’s a disturbing fact of life 😮 And I’m sure the Fire Nation is doing something about it as we speak.
Thank you for being honest about your f - ups in the kitchen. Because, not everyone is. I loved this video and your channel! 😊
I had a lot of fun making it! So thank you. 😊
Those look delicious!!! And every time I see the hippies I just can't not sing! "SECRET TUNNEL"
🎶 And Diiiieee!!! 🎶

I always think I'm going to be too much, but then I get comments like this. 😊
Improvising is never a bad thing. So that's how you make mochi! Cool.

ah, sorry about that@@temperancetalley
Looks great 😋 but I can’t actually handle spicy food all that well, I just wish there were non spicy alternatives 😔
Well the Fire Nation also specializes Seafood! 🦞 🌊 So if you don’t like spicy, maybe some of the seafood recipes might impress you. 😊
Makin’ me want this book!!!!!
Get it! And then make your first recipe and give it to a friend and say, "For you my fellow Hotman!"
That komodo chicken 🤤
Very good chicken. Sokka would love it! But it makes me wonder what komodo dragon would taste like? Alligator? Juicy? Your thoughts? 🤔
@@temperancetalley considering their mouth is full of rot and bacteria, like death!
It's on Amazon for sure
Nice first video
Thanks!
I'm not keen on the idea of strawberry/jalapeño gelatin. What does letting it bloom mean? 😅
