I actually believe that they are attempting yet another disaster in order to affect the election. There are some reports telegraphing that Mt. Putting the convention that late may turn out to be a colossal mistake for the Democrats. The rules make it impossible to replace Biden unless he steps down before the convention. Only afterwards can they do it by declaring him incompetent. But that creates a major problem. A new nominee would have only nine weeks or so to build name recognition and would start with no money since Biden’s money cannot be shifted.
