This is a fantastic series that you are doing Russ. Just showing folks what these places are like will save so many time and gas and money knowing what to expect and where to go for sure if they are looking for a camping place that is free. I know if I were Rving now, I would be very grateful to you for these just as I am as a viewer. Thanks J
We stop at that 3 Sisters truck stop at least 2 or 3 times a year as we pass going east or coming west and have never seen these BLM sites!! I walk my dogs down Tom Wells Road and never knew it went back that far!! Thanks for making us aware!!
Here is a BLM map image for the Tom Wells exit and Ehrenberg for those wondering the borders of the BLM land. Yellow is BLM and blue is AZ State Trust Land. Both exits start initially or next to State Trust Land and the roads then go to BLM. Click on the image to enlarge. imgur.com/a/pQUYrnc Many times the BLM marks their roads with a vertical marker with the Dept of Interior symbol and saying BLM. The state is not the best at marking state land but they expect people to know where it is. Use of State Trust Land requires a permit from the State Land Trust department.
Really nice clear drone footage. Great info for travelers. Everything needed can be found fairly close seems like. If you haul your own water, and have a lil solar you'd have it made. Thanks. 😊👍
We enjoyed Quartsite, AZ today. Thx 2 you we are staying at Shady Lane 2nite, we got off at exit 19. Loved the fleamarkets here. All bcuz of your input. Looked for rver tv sightings today, but did not see any. We will come back here in January. Thx for helping us discover Quartzsite.
We/me really appreciate all the work you put into help us understand this area as well as all the other tips and tricks you provide us. Thank you Russ!
nice video, I was told those pile of cans in the desert are from the workers that help build the railroads, usually a mile or so from the railroad where they had camps, parentseyes.arizona.edu/promise/railroad.html
Just found you. Wife Patricia and I live in Reno, NV. Travel in our 20ft. Roadtrek. In the last year we have crossed US to Canada and Florida. Thanks for more places to look for. Planning to be in Quartzsite, next month.
Another good'n in the series Russ. This must be a lot of work. I have added your Amazon link for all my purchases...Thanks once again for doing this series!
Thanks Russ.we are based in Mississippi but have been on the road since August (2018)traveling thru the central time zone upper peninsula Michigan and south /southeast and presently back in Northern Mississippi....but with plans on 'blming' in 2019/20. Your type of video really helps us understand what to expect and plan for. Michael and Ruth.👍
Russ.......would you please, please, please show 88 Shades RV Park with a drive thru???? We have reservations there and would love to get a feel of it PLEEEEZE! Great 👍🏼 Video Russ! I’m loving this series! How far out does Tom Wells Road go? Isn’t there another exit closer to California with a Flying J that you can get on Tom Wells?
Hey, Russ...how long do snow birds stay there in the Q area? I know most seem to come right after Christmas. Do most people stay until spring? Another great video....thank you for your effort and time. :-)
The Flying J in Ehrenberg has a dump station. The store laundromat on the north side of the interstate may also have one but I am not sure. Hopefully someone can confirm one way or the other.
@@bruceh3786 Yes, the Store-Laundromat in E-berg has a dump station/water. I believe it's $10 now. The Flying J has been closed for 2-3 years. Was it reopened?
Thanks for the update. I was not aware the J closed their station. Upon reading your comment I called and was told it is still closed and in need of repair but nothing is currently scheduled. Another possible option is the City of Blythe waste water treatment plant has a real nice two lane dump facility on the south side of I-10 put in about six or so years ago. It was open a couple of years ago so I assume it still is. It does have limited hours and cash is required to be put in a pay envelope.
@@rvertv Man i just watched CheapRVLiving video about Ehrenberg, AZ. On the court side area their is a 14 day limit. i guess it's another place. he is in Ehrenberg, AZ ua-cam.com/video/sRPuRc2npZw/v-deo.html 1:20 he talks about the BLM rangers do not enforce a certain part. Do you know what he's talking about?
Thanks for the overview. That helps a lot. Looking forward to more.

yes need to be careful on any BLM land
Is there water & a Dump available at the gas station?
Great info. Do you sleep in your Cargo trailer or motor home the most?
