    Hello dear
    thank you for great video
    when i use ip call to make a call, video stream isnt showing on indoor monitor. Can you tell the mistake i might made?

      Depending on the firmware there could be several reasons. When it's on thr cloud everything gets auto configured .
      However in a local setup on indoor monitor in monitor settings at the door phone unit and its rtsp adress.then in local phone book add the front door as a contact an it ip adress . Depending on the monitor this should usually override it and display video.
      Also on the indoor monitor settings though the browser see if a audio/video call is set as default and not audio only

    I understand this system is fee based after a 30 day trial. In a multi-family apartment building of 18 units, do you know if tenants are charged a fee to use the Akuvox service?

      Billing goes through the installer. Not individual tenants

      @@cctvny Never received any notice from our building owner at all. I saw the box on the building and by chance wrote Akuvox support. They wrote back in part: “The cloud service you use is developed by Akuvox, so the email will have our company logo. Our distributor buys our devices and the system they install will show our logo when users sign into their account. They will find their installer contact number or email on the apps, help page and normal cases the system installer will get in touch with a user to explain.” I have contacted the owner and installer CCTV and have heard nothing from either group in over 30 days. I am naturally skeptical to sign up for such app.

      @daveygjuanvalldez8981 not all panels are set up even with cloud service. They can be set up via sip(voip) or through direct network connection to monitors. The app service and cloud needs to be enabled by the installer and the management needs to pay for the service. So you may not have an option for even having the app if it's not setup that way. I would push the management to ask for app service feom the installation company, if you want the app.

      @@cctvny I received email from Akuvox that app is 30 day free trial. That implies a fee. Sorry in this end that neither installer or owner would answer the question.

      @@cctvny thanks. Not getting response from CCTV or owner or installer but I will keep trying. This makes Akuvox look very bad because the system was yanked out and Akuvox installed with no advance notice to tenants. We could not get postal mail for over 30 days.

    Hey Avi, Had a service call today customer says the intercom stopped opening up the door. I checked the relay in the Akuvox and it was not working. Any ideas what could cause the relay to stop working?

      I am sorry for the late response. If Ac Voltage was used it could burn out the relay.

    You lost me at "Cloud Fees"....

      If you have inside stations there are no fees I a multi residencial environment.
      Cloud also for installers to make a Rmr and incentive to continuously service the customer. Also there are costs to manage all of the data and services online.

      @@cctvny Seems very confusing as I see lots of dealers dropping their Akuvox products. I still like the product and would like to learn exactly what cloud services are needed for each product and if, how and when I would have to pay any fees to keep the products working to their fullest extent.

      @@cctvny I refuse to promote or install systems that bleed people for monthly fees. I promote and install products that once bought, the customer owns and controls so they do not have to worry about that corporation selling their data, losing data to hackers or changing the rules or pricing structure down the road.

      @@007systems7 I respect your stance on recurring fees. I feel that the cloud will regardless be what gets used for most processing or experience based technologies. I do believe in a hybrid model as well. And for very secure applications offline systems are many times preffered for redundancy..
      Also akuvox devices can be registered to your own sip server,nvr, and access control system. Only issue is you need multiple softwares and databases to login to and you do not get the same feature set.
