You’re probably not going to see this, but just in case. PNG is a lossless picture format. So it would keep your picture at a high quality and it also supports transparency.

So Is PNG better than PDF?
I have a BFA in graphic design and this is the first time I've felt confident that I might be able to make a living with it. The amount of stuff that I've made that has just sat and collected literal and metaphorical dust is awful. Thank you for making these videos and sharing what you've learned, it's both inspiring and helpful.
I totally agree Conner, having the knowledge as a entry level Graphic designer using everything adobe is just not as interesting as canva seems to be on most designs.
I have NO graphic design knowledge but Sandra’s ❤ videos make me look like an expert . I watch, stop do, watch, stop, do repeat. Upload. Everything I need is right here on the video.

I love that you specified that you purchase a commercial license for those graphic. I think a lot of people feel like if it’s online is free to use.
Hi Sandra, I have watched so many of your videos back to back! Such great instruction! I have a question on using graphics from Creative Market (or other websites of the like) via their commercial licenses. How differentiated/altered does it have to be. Is the example in your tutorial different enough?
Hi Amy! In this example, yes it's enough. However I always recommend that you read the rules of every artist/graphic package you purchase because it will describe what they require :). They usually require it at least slightly altered and adding graphics from other packages as well
Hi Sandra; do you know if the frame mock ups (free and pro) images can be used as commercial use to sell the digital art on Etsy? Or should I just purchase my own mock up image?
I’m also still confused if canva elements (free or pro) can be used or not as long as they are significantly changed. The canva terms when I read them are very confusing for me to understand. Tia!

Hi Sandra! i feel so lucky to run into you while i was looking for guidance in regards with uploading digital art on Etsy ! Your tutorial is so fast paced and yet so clear and easy to follow thank you :) so i have just one question, while i was doimg some research on etsy , i noticed artists usually uploads a guide table consisting of dimensions of the artwork matching with printble sizes .. do u have any idea about that matching calculation or where to find it , thanks again :)
Hi! Yes I have a guide as well showing sizes and dimensions. It includes ratio sizes like 4:5 ratio, 3:4 ratio, and 2:3 ratio. It just means for example a 4:5 ratio can print 16"x20 AND also a 8"x10". It can be scaled down or up as long as the ratio from width to height is the same. Hope that helps!

Hi! Thanks for the video! Is there any way to resize your illustrations (that you’ve drawn yourself) for the different paper sizes without losing quality?
Hi there! As long as you save it to a PDF, it should not lose quality when you resize it like the way I showed in the video :). The issue with JPG from Canva is that it saves to 96 dpi so I would go with PDF in this case
I just got canvas !!! Making shirts is what I do and the quality of graphics and the easy way to create is amazing !!! I LOVE IT ,.. I’m. Considering start selling graphics for Etsy as I have the time for it now !! Thanks for explaining canvas and I look forward to watch how to sell the files :)

Hi Sandra, another quick question... If I download my canva files as PDF print files, can I go ahead and upload those to Etsy or do I need to convert them to jpeg? Just trying to figure out what is best for the customer, easiest to print... thanks so much for being so attentive!
You can definitely upload the PDFs! It does not have to be JPG :)
Thanks for this video! I just made my first digital sale (which is my 20th official sale overall) on my Etsy shop. Out of curiosity, is there anything wrong with saving as a PNG? Etsy allows PNGs don't they?
Hi! Congratulations on your sale! There is nothing wrong with a PNG file- it just depends on how you want your customers to use it. If you offer PNG with a transparent background, they can alter that image, which is ok if that's what you want to offer
