Thanks for this video. I have most of the presser feet demonstrated and have learned that there is more than one use for them. The “stitch-in-the-ditch” foot is more versatile than I had imagined. Again, many thanks. And by the way, since your videos go global, I appreciate your demonstrations and notes that embrace more than one linguistic and cultural group of sewing folks.
@@m.carmenblanco3863 the instructor has a Juki machine, so she likely got from her Juki store. You can do the same thing with any wide or open throat presser foot, with extra care. Hope this helps.
Thank you for showing how to correctly use the various feet that come with most sewing machines. Some have never been shown how to use them. This is a nice tutorial. ❤
On my machine, once you install a buttonhole foot you have to pull down the little white plastic lever to the left of the presser foot. It acts as a stop I think to help the foot work properly. Good job on showing these 4 feet in action--I can never get a blind hem just right. It either doesn't catch or catches too much material and looks terrible.
I have the same problem with blind hems, but have never used this foot. I think they will be better now that I know more about this foot and how it can be used. Thank you!
I want to buy a home sewing machine and JUKI seems to be the one for me, since it is reliable, and easy to use. Thank you for the demonstration, I really needed to be convinced of this machine's versatility, too.
Hi! can you show how to sew various knits..I have the same machine and always have problems ..it just does not like knit fabric..it looks like it is designed for cottony fabrics
For us to be sure what foot you are showing it would help if you turned each one over. I am only sure that the buttonhole foot was shown. Can guess at others but not sure. Come on you can do better than this.
I’ve been sewing for a long time but don’t always use the optional feet (and I have most for my Pfaff). Your tutorial is an excellent overview of how to use them is great, and including the settings is helpful for anyone new at sewing. Thank you so much, and I love the gentle background music without any narrative. Some people just talk too much (we have eyes, we can see). And sometimes their voices are beyond annoying so I mute them anyway 😂. I subscribed.
@@TaleHandmade you are a good sewer. I have been sewing for over fifty years. I have ALL the sewing presser feet and when you use them I say to myself, “oh, I forgot that foot does that!” Please keep making your videos, I love them.💕
Helpful videos. I do most of my hemming by hand but will definitely try the blind hemming foot now. Also the appliqué and overcast, I’ve never used those. I appreciated that you took your time and sewed slowly…a lot of UA-cam sewing videos, person sews so fast and sewing ends up crooked and either they don’t care, or think we don’t see that. 🥹
I thought the same thing at first, but then I realized that English may not be her native language, and people in other countries watch these videos also.

Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate you getting down to business and NOT waisting time by talking. Thanks again
Здорово! Отличная швейная машина! Можно сказать , что шьет практически сама😊
You did good work on all of your sewing. It's the first time anyone would show how to sew a button hole on. Thank you.
Thank you so much 🥰
I avoid button holes, but this instruction inspires me to try them again.

Nice video but would have loved audio instruction.
May I know what sewing machine do you use in this tutorial?
Hello it's juki dx3
I disagree. I am a long time sewer, she makes wonderful video’s if you just watch and use your imagination. If you don’t like it, just don’t watch.
Thank you

Machen model??
Hello it's juki dx3
The plural of "foot" is "feet'!!!
Thank you 🙂
Danke!
Vielen Dank 🥰
Thanks for the sewing tips but please, don't massacre our beautiful English language. The plural of foot is feet, no matter in which context.
Wow! This was a sewing lesson, not an English class! You do have the option of not watching!!!
people who cant teach make video with music and no instruction. I wonder how your child would learn if his teacher never said anyhthing
I thought the same thing at first, but then I realized that English may not be her native language, and people in other countries watch these videos also.
When you see a video with no talking, it's normally because the youtuber does not speak English.
I would much rather see a demonstration that gets to the point rather than one that is so “cutesy” than one with endless gab and gestures
It may also be an accent thing. I'm Scottish and some people, perhaps not native speakers themselves, struggle with my accent.
She is in Germany. I looked on her page
