Beautiful colours and the masking on those white lines is superb! 👏
I really like that blue, gorgeous painting on the body alone, must see more!
Great color job and those lines are CRISP!!!!!!! It does look satisfying watching you pull the tape lines......
Very nice. Love the colors and the Super Snake Style stripes!
The color is so damn great, especially with the white stripes! Amazing work!
New subscriber getting back into the hobby now being retired I have plenty of time on my hands do to COVID. I’m looking forward to following your channel. Thanks again for sharing your info and knowledge. 👍 Artie
Excellent job with the stripes, I'd done the opposite, white primer then blue. Anyway the rendering is beautiful. Cheers.
Awesome color choice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome paint.
Perfect finish like always 👌👌👌👌👌
Amazing work. Congrats on almost 200k subscribers.
How is your car paint so clean and smooth ? Any tips?
Nice Blue!!! Body looks Great!!! I'll be watching
Nice job you are doing on this man !!!!!
Love the paint work. Nice job.
Nice color combination love it 😉
When I used zero paint over Tamiya primer, it destoryed it. Like if the paint was shrinking, making crazy wrinkles and revealing imperfections that were well covered by primer. Had to strip it and start again with a different primer...
great job
Very nice!
Love your work. I am looking to buy a scriber but don't have a lot of money. Which scriber and tool would be the best for mostly cars and trucks? Thanks in advance.
The best is the tamiya engraving blade 0.2
Th best cheap solution is a Trumpeter scriber
Looking good!!!
can you show a side by side before and after comparison of the panel lines. i want to see how big a difference it makes.
In the video you can still see the panel line on the other headlight a little bit. Maybe that helps for now.
It does make a massive difference in my opinion
@@TheScalemodelingChannel I'm saying next time, like an up close photo. personally its hard to see a big difference so it would help.
Great tips nicely done.
I LIKE THE STRIPES TOM
Great job, I used the Tamiya tape but still get paint bleed in some area's. Not a whole lot, but small bleed area's..Any suggestions?
Make sure it is pressed down properly, and have no tention on it anywhere
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thank you sir
Estupenda primera parte de la construccion de este Ford Shelby Mustang GT500, muy buena la realizacion de la carrocería y pintura, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela.💯👍👊🤘
Great Videos!!! What do you mean when you say you have to apply thin layers for plastic models? What happens when the color bites into the plastic?
Thank you once again!
The thinners in laquer paints are quite aggressive and can bite in to and potentialy melt plasic. Resin and matel are much harder and the thinners can’t attact those materials as much
@@TheScalemodelingChannel great thank you for your response :)
Perfect
How do you gauge what pressure to use for painting? I tend to use 20psi. Noticed in a few of your videos that the psi ranges change.
Different airbrush different settings. I just keep trying untill i find what feels good
Looks great Tom , how does the clear from streetblister compare to the clear from ZP that you used before ?
I like streetblisters better.
lookin fantastic so far !!!! what kinda scrber is that. / make ? cant for the next 1👍😎👍
As shown in the video and linked in the description. Tamiya engraving blade and holder
Hi Tom, great video as usual! Interesting to see that the white primer worked well. I’ve had a good experience painting white stripes on a darker colour with Tamiya’s LP paint.
I’m curious as to how the Street Blisters clear compares to Zero 2K. Would you say that the SB paint is easier to use/achieves a better finish out of the gun in comparison?
Just as easy to use, i personaly like the way it cures better(smoother)
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Awesome, thanks for the info!
you sure have more patience than me with those strips
love it
Very nice!👍👍
Absolutely beautiful!
personally I love resin models
awesome dude!
Possible newbie question... If you're using the same acrylic ZeroPaints paint you've used on plastic kits, can you help me understand how heavier coats "bite" into plastic more than resin?
Zero paints are not acrylic. They are laquer.
The thinners in laquer paints are quite aggressive and can bite in to and potentialy melt plasic. Resin and matel are much harder and the thinners can’t attact those materials as much
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Understood -- thanks for clarifying!
AWESOMENESS !
WOW 😳 .
Nice vid, love the colors and you showing howto :)
How long did you wait between clear coat , and why did you change the clear coat?
An hour or so.
I got offered to test it. And like it. So i still use it
@@TheScalemodelingChannel thnx so much
Any plans on building a resin 2021 'Vette?
Did not know there was one?
very nice thanks for the links cool dou love the vid scooter d
Hi I've been using my H&S Silverline Evo 0.2mm for 2 days from now. I'm having a problem on it. It splatter paints whenever I pull the trigger to the max but when I pull it just in the middle it won't splatter. Do you know how to fix it? I find the paint dripping whenever I pull the needle.
Make sure the air is always pressed when spraying. And also when not spraying. Remove the crown. As that tends to build up paint.
Is streetblisters better than zero 2k Diamond?
Quite the same.
He said he prefers Streetblisters better than Zero.
$100 body kit,???well the $24 dollar amt kit im having problems getting the front end on but man im gonna do the strips idea, badass
When ordering from the Ukrane to the USA does it require paying tarifs or anything else special? Thanks
Im not from the us, so no idea.
Nice job ....
I Like It, have a Blessed Week.
Sure wish it was easier to get zero paints in the US.
been a month and a half and still on backorder from new jersey.....
streetblister paint dont ship to usa....
Quick question for you, Tom. Did I hear you right when you said you waited “a couple of minutes” before unmasking the stripes?? Every automotive show I’ve ever watched seems to unmask once the paint is dry - is there an advantage to unmasking whilst the paint is still wet?? Love the channel, mate - wish my models turned out even half as good as yours do!!! : )
the paint is touch dry in a couple minutes ;) thats the same way they do it on the shows
@@TheScalemodelingChannel thanks Tom, appreciate the info, mate. : )
I love that blue color. Reminds me of Tamiya Mica Blue and Telefonica Blue. Great job masking those stripes. I couldn't even do that if I had the patience. I'm just a sucker for decals lol
already watched the whole video in the 7 seconds its been up
