gun shot wound to the mid tibia, close range 9mm .. I have a Type 1 or Type 2 comminuted fracture and at 3 months they don't see any progress on my x-rays... am I doomed to be a non-union or is there still time to have x-ray progress?
Hi, i presume the technique of increasing the stiffness of fixation to achieve union would only apply to those patients with hypertrophic non- union and not oligo or atrophic nonunion? And are all non-union attributed to lack of stiffness? (Could it be attributed to too much stiffness eg locking plates that are too near the fracture site or too high in plate-screw density?)

稳定性对骨折的早期影响比较大，这是肯定的，特别是对简单骨折，简单骨折的移位越大影响越大，反而粉碎骨折影响对早期稳定性的要求不高
我早期学习骨科也有这样的疑问，但后来发现原来任何理论都有自己的边界和极限，可以从骨折的时间段理解，早期稳定促进愈合，晚期影响干扰愈合
