I miss the guys playing Phasmophobia, it was so much fun to watch and gave us much needed endorphins at this long long Covid and now the winter cold and darkness too. 2021 is still as crappy as 2020.
The way you fix the FOV is by going into the settings and finding an Option Called "Smooth Camera" that makes the camera a little less shaky when you spaz out along with making the view great enough to even see your walkie talkie in at tge corner at times when you walk.
When playing in VR, if the ghost starts hunting - you can lie on the floor and the ghost can't get you. Watched Mr Sark do it on his stream the other day!

So this how I did it when I streaming Beat Saber. This is for steamvr, so you click the 3 lines, then you click on 'Display VR view'. You will get a window of what you are seeing that's the best way to do it if you want them to your POV, this will make less zoomed it and less annoying to look at.

On the oculus rift there’s a file that’s has oculus mirror which should change to what you see there will be a settings tab on the application to turn off time lapse which helps get rid of the black bars that show up from drag and I believe you change its settings in the properties at the end type after the quotation hit space then type -Size 1920 1080

To change the FOV in the game you need to just start up the game before you join into someones game. You use the whiteboard to go into the setting and go to the video settings and you should be able to scroll the FOV
