I have 1st Gen Nexon D bought in 2017. I have also driven face lift version and felt way better fit and finish and now this new one must have even better one.
I had test drive experience with new Nexon petrol variant, and found the engine to be surprisingly a lot quieter. This channel is so amazing!! Keep up the good work!
Yes I took the test drive recently and am previously owner of Nexon. I found it really big change in performance.
but I personally somewhat liked earlier model of nexon from the fornt. It was much bolder giving a overall mini beast look.
That's because the front of old Nexon is copied from Range Rover, and of course the Range Rovers look amazing from the front.
However, as the design is getting more evolved to cool DRLs and slim lines (that is what all the Chinese SUVs are running behind now). and now TATA brings the trend to India too.
See, every other car will start changing the front and rear to add slim lines and long DRLs.

I thought you will definitely give credit to Tata for this wonderful car. But you are uneceesarily pointing out irrelevant things which is not even the case like fit and finish, engine noise. Their BS6 ph2 turbo petrol engines are both refined now (negligible noise) and powerful. Also for your information their upcoming 1.2L TGDI is 3 cylinder not 4, which also you will criticize for sure when it will come to Curv.

One very important thing is missing in this review especially regarding a diesel powertrain
After RDE phase 2 norms do we still get a DPF installed in catalytic converter (which is a nightmare , and 100% not recommended for people who drive very less specially in city , DPF regeneration will kill you , I personally owned Ecosport 2021 diesel with DPF and I sold it for one reason irritating DPF regeneration cycles )
Likewise Creta now have introduced Adblu Protruding insert with a diesel filling knob which is like 12 litres )
Do we also get here in this facelift Nexon or the same old DPF in caralytic converter

Dear vikas, you described nicely both sides of tata nexon new facelift. i am driving TATA Nexon 2020 facelift Petrol. almost derived 60k in 3 years and also hill journey upto 14000 feet but feel little power lacking if you are in 4th gear at 1000 rpm, but above 1500 rpm it climbs smoothly.
you should never be in 1000 rpm in 4th gear, that is just bad driving.... keep it above 1500 on uphill.. This is character of all turbo engines.

What I found interesting about his video was some of the points like the panel gap, the sun visor adjustment etc. One could chalk the former to media vehicle and not expect it in the customer product.
All of these are fixable. That being said, it was refreshing to see someone point out issues like this.

Decent review but the frustration displayed by the reviewer over few quality issues felt over the top. Could have been handled in a better way just like the same reviewer does for other well established brands. Yup, the locking mechanism was broken (at 9:00) and he could have mentioned the same as to why there was so much of flex in that panel. Now did the locking mechanism break due to poor quality issue or due to mishandling or deliberate, lets leave it for some other day. The sun visor not staying straight when pulled to the side, that could have come as a scope of improvement, that is not exactly a quality issue. The very minor alignment issue of that small sheet panel just above the steering and below the speedo console....man! that was just another level of attention to details. If he starts reviewing even luxury brands at that intricate level, he will come up with such issues, but then those won't get highlighted.
Not a Tata fan boy, neither own one, but the kind of shamming going on by auto journos for home grown brand over international brands for similar offense is also not warranted.
It definitely looks something more than a facelift, Tata has really taken the game up even for the segments above and below it.

If you have checked the launch of the Vehicle, TATA already informed that these are pre-production media drive vehicles and final production vehicles will cover all the negatives as recommended by experts. So please post correct information, I am an Altroz user since last 3 years and drove 84K KMS and never faced service issue or vehicle issue what so ever. Tata Nexon now has edge in Safety,Value for money proportion, Features,Diesel engine is good and suspension is very good but they definitely need to improve petrol engines in terms of Refinement, Smoothness,Reliability and power delivery because Diesel engines are in the last stage of discontinuation..
It appears that this person is expressing their frustration towards Tata Motors because they were not invited to their official test drive. They did not want to get caught, so they made comments using another email account to make themselves appear unbiased and good. I have been using the 1.2 Turbo Petrol for a year now. Never felt loss of power or torque. Climb on hills is also accurate, never felt the lag in city mode.
@@bluesky-ds9uu i also own tata nexon (1.5 yrs) dark edition turbo petrol. In city bumper to bumper i get 11 kmpl but max mileage i got 23 kmpl( from delhi to shimla) in delhi i usually get 13kmpl with moderate traffic. Cabin noise is minute never had problem. Only problems i faced is technical issue, my sunroof doesn't close time to time i had it fixed in service station but since last week its started to happen again. Other problem i faced that could be firm ware problem , when i put the car in reverse the back camera gets stuck on screen(fixed now)
After bs6 2 the engine refinement was upgraded and more powerful and also upgraded the milage so take chill😎

I always drive in city mode, clocked 17k in one year. No issue so far. 170nm torque clearly justified. 3rd and 4th gear me gadi bahut accha pickup deti hai.
@@bluesky-ds9uu Since it is a Turbo charged Petrol engine, there will be some evident noise, but that adds to the enthusiastic drive too.
