Hi Irinel, thank you for your reply. The video your video is ony 5.17 minutes long, so i don't understand what you mean about watching 9.01 to 9.09 what you have done in picture adjust. I am afraid that function has been superseded because i can't find it anywhere in the menu. It's a bit frustrating because the images I get from the camcorder at 4k don't look as sharp as yours. I am even thinking to return the camera. Your pictures really did the selling of it.
I like the picture on this. As someone who steadfastly stuck to camcorders for years I found myself looking for Bridge/Compact Cameras for shooting video simply because Sony took away the ability to select both the Shutter Speed and the Iris, so once you set Iris the Shutter defaults to Auto. Sony do however give you a decent 100mbps. Plus while Panasonic do give you manual control, Set the Iris after the shutter and the Shutter stays as set. But their 4K bitrate is only 72mbps. This footage on the other hand looks very sharp. I'll use an ND filter and slow shutter speeds so not an issue with the sharpness on maybe +3. I tried the Panasonic Lumix LX100 in video mode, used an ND filter and although it was great for colour and sharpness, it sucked in dust! So dust spots on the sensor, and that a Fixed lens camera, so you cannot get rid of the dust!. So I'll try the VX1 if I can find one still out there.
any handycams which allow you to set it manually? 1080p is fine for me. I am eyeing Sony CX series (405&625) but open for suggestions, these things are super handy and very cheap to get get 2nd hand
@@TheReelport I finally went for the HC-VX1, but deliberately sourced it from the States for it's 30fps rather than the PAL options over here. It is great and really smooth on playback, as even here in the UK the Monitors, Tablets, phones and TVs we will watch them on seem to be 60HZ refresh rates, despite the PAL region. Just do not film under false lighting.
@@southofthethames You didn't have to go to the trouble of sourcing a HC-VX1 from the States to get 30fps - go into the Service Menu of a UK sourced 'corder and voilà! - 25/30fps.
Hi Irinel, 2 days ago I bought the VX1 after watching your video... Very convincing about the image quality of the camcorder. But I don't seem to find the menu page you show at the start with the the picture adjust for Sharpness, Colour, Exposure and WB... That was one of the main features I have been sold on! Do you believe it would have been superseded or hidden somewhere else? Thank you
Hello, in this video, from minute 9:01 to 9:09 go to "Picture - Adjust", I hope it will be useful, but I don't think the eye notices this change, try with 0 and +5 and +3. All the best! ua-cam.com/video/Fa0pvqfdPPA/v-deo.html
@@irinelcodreanu6897 Dear Irinel, thank you again for your reply. I clicked on the link to the clip you supplied, which by the way I have already watched many times, but at the point you suggest the only picture adjust available is the picture size, the remain menu is about record set up, zoom mode , record format and record mode. No trace anywhere of the Picture Adjust where to change picture sharpness, colour, exposure and WB as shown in the opening image of your sample video. Could it be possible in your opinion that such functions are no longer available in more recent butches/models? I bought mine one week ago. When did you get yours? Thank you for your continued kind assistance.

@thewalkingvloggingman7152 I just bought one and the camera is definitely not dope. As said above, the dynamic range sucks. The shadows are way to dark in bright light and the colors are too bland indoor. I was constantly adjusting it try to get it halfway decent. Couldn't, so I returned it. Got the Sony ax43a and has much better image and video quality. The Panasonic did have noticeably better and faster focusing though.
Love the footage and the MUSIC!
That's really wholesome - thanks
Wow, I think it looks awesome. Thank you for uploading. Kind regards.

Are the footage in 4k? Or 1080p?
Als which one should I het? This one or the hc v800?
I don't own 4k equipment so full hd is what I need.
Yes, they are 4k, you buy what you think you need!
Thanks

Are these shots handheld or on a tripod ?
Most scenes with tripod.

How did you get up the camera to shoot so clearly, you can guide me the details. Thanks you so munch.
On a tripod...
Just a quick question, does it make any noise when it zoomes in?
As far as can be seen at minute 0:45, no more noise...
I enjoy it

Why no 30fps option?
Then I did not give importance to the detail: 25 vs 30 fps.

Nice video and Music loved it
Filming a beautiful scene, in addition to the tripod, also have too set up properly.
Awesome. Panasonic should use as their promotion video.
I miss the 50 x optic and 90 x smart zoom's of Panasonic:(
Well go and buy one, they are still around,......ebay is your friend!

Не плохо, но...
Dynamic range sucks. Always seems to look phoney - very 2,000's with those oversized Sony's.
Stop complaining. This camera is dope.
