I believe Deschamps is one of the most efficient and adaptable managers in the world. He might not play the most exciting football but he knows what it takes to win and knows how to execute his plan to perfection.

How did they played? Spain, offensive positive football and they were far from being favorites. Italy won in 2021, they just parked the bus against Spain, the rest of the games they were playing offensive football. France won the WC playing that way but nothing else (I am not counting glorified friendlies as Real trophies). I think they could have won More playing the other way.
