One of my favorite battles ever! Was so obsessed with Sugar Jones! She killed this! She was in the pocket the whole time whereas Jean was rushing ahead of the music. Sugar's stylistic choices throughout the song were also better than Jean's. Sugar's voice also suited the song better. Her harmonies toward the end were fantastic!!!
This battle was one of the most epic ones in The Voice U.S. history. One of my personal faves too. It was underrated tbh.
