Brown is more reliable in the big moments it's been that way for a few years now. If the offense prioritized his scoring more, it could be for the betterment of the team.

Somehow, he's shooting worse this time around. He may have a big night and pull his shooting % up, but, when the going gets tough, every one of their top 5 guys is more reliable scoring the rock atm.

Assists counted differently, rebounds counted differently, na calls gives more points.
Sorry, higher numbers don't give real picture, but false one.
Players are not more skilled but have more space and get less calls

Shooting 31% that's beyond just bad. He may have a big game now that they're up 2-0 and bring up his shooting %. But, the guys getting ir done scoring wise to get them in the clear is definitely JB and Porzingis.

Jaylen gets to play 1 on 1 and Tatum gets doubled majority of the time. The person viewed as the best always gets doubled.

No they collapsed and down when brown and Tatum get to the paint because they have no one that could stay in front of brown and the Tatum.they zone up Tatum and brown side and in Jaylen brown case Kidd made more of a effort to build a wall against brown stop there not doubling Tatum or brown that would be dumb Boston have to much shooter and people that can attack close outs and make decisions to do that.that would be dumb stop making excuses for Tatum he getting his 22 shot by the brown only had 15 shot brown is just more efficient and consistent scorer and defender.he is a better defender to and Tatum just past and rebound better .brown is just a better and more efficient all around players
So he is under-performing cuz he gets doubled?.. When was MJ doubled and didnt perform? when was Kobe doubled and didn't perform? when was the greats doubled and because of that they didnt shine? ... getting doubled is no excuse... JT hasnt shown up period!

@@DonQuixe If your shot is not falling, you still have to find other ways to help your team win. How many points did his assist account for? His numbers have a much bigger impact for his team than what you see from Luka.

@@Dryltdreal Celtics fans aren’t tired. Tatums shooting is awful but he has recognized that and been exceptional at every other aspect of the game. He didn’t cost them a championship the warriors were just the more experienced and better team. This is the process, newer nba fans aren’t used to this teams don’t just become great overnight.

@@patrickryan7400 I didn't say Celtics fans. I'm a Bulls fan and the Celtics could have beat the Warriors. That Warriors team was beatable. I watched that Finals and was not happy that Tatum got all the attention while failing. Brown only got to share the blame. This attacking Tatum is more motivated from a desire for Brown to be recognized for his part. Even I k own Tatum will eventually drop 30. It's what he loves to do. He is a scorer. I just don't want Brown to be forgotten.

Celtics fans and fans of the game of basketball know both of the Js are great players who bring a lot to the table. JT still leads the team in ppg, rebounds, and assists in this postseason. And leads the NBA in +/- in these playoffs.
Tatum's playing the role of being the primary rebounder and facilitator, while Jaylen Brown is being their best scorer and defender. Which is weird because we all thought Tatum was their primary scorer and Holiday would be the playmaker. But if this is leading to wins then who am I to judge?

The 17ppg is because he's averaging 19 shots a game but on 31% shooting. He's playing sub par, but his team is stacked so they can win even when he's wetting the bed.
@@J-Huehe’s shooting sub par. That’s it. He’s doing everything else at high level just like all the Celtics do. It’s called balance. We saw it the other night outside of Holliday the Celtics shot horribly but still won with relative ease because they do everything else right.

Not comical really. Especially if we are talking about when it was unclear when or if porzingis would return. Mavs although not having near the same pieces as the Celtics realistically had a chance to grab some games but they haven’t had the production they had outside of Luka and kyrie

Jaylen is more athletic so he can force the issue scoring wise better in clutch situations, but tatum IS the system. Its like when KD was with the warriors, some might say he's the "best" , but if you remove steph they arent even a serious contender
Strongly disagree. Kd was the guy on those gsw teams and the craziest part was he never did anything outside the flow of the offense just did his work and silently led that team. That team was still a well oiled machine when Quinn cook was starting

Even this post season hasn’t been much to really delve into especially the pacer series as the pacers literally handed them 3 wins. Celtics have the superstar but he can literally be non existent in a game and the team not miss a beat as they have the best roster in the league. Not much to really delve into or devote much time to besides, “best team in the league” and however many other ways to convey same message

This isn’t football or march madness where a lucky one off can happen. If a team makes it to the finals they should have made it(and yes I too use this on the bucks that by the grace of God were gifted the win over the nets). Celtics have the best roster in the league and for the past 3-4 years been heavy favorites yet consistently underachieved plus the mavs been dialed in so not a wild thing to favor the mavs. Momentum pays dividends and mavs had it all whilst the Celtics all playoffs weren’t impressive in their performances for the most part. Hell the pacers literally handed them 3 games on a golden platter🤣
