I still almost exclusively play gen 1 because every time I see the watercolor art on the back of the cartridge it reminds me of the commercials in 1998 talking about trading your Pokémon crossing the cable across the apartments. And when I play it, I know which Pokémon each trainer has and what level they are but it brings me right back to all of us being obsessed and talking about it at the bus stop, on the school bus and at the cafeteria. Just a nostalgia hit😂
Every time you lose in this game you will lose half of your money. You will only have a certain amount of money in the game so you have to be careful. The only renewable source of money is the Elite Four.
