@@Didda3 Actually, he has a point. Contact lenses alone wouldn't be able to give someone their vision back. Optic nerves control sight, and the brain's interpretation of that signal to the eyes. In short, all a lens could do a best is clarify it, or augment it with a VR display. My parents are slowly going blind, so this does give a bit of hope, but I see what you mean.

I love technology and cat wait to see where it goes (hopefully not exploited by the corrupt), and would LOVE something like this (well, better than this but great proof of concept). Think of the Translation app from our phones today where a foreign language, even foreign character sets - are replaced by English (or whatever your preferred language is) visually and near instantly! You’d be able to walk around a foreign city and see all the signs and stores and menus and everything in your native language so you never have to feel lost or overwhelmed! Security Guards could link in to sensors in say an airport and “see” who might have guns or other weapons, etc that scanners detect…link to security camera networks and follow a suspect based on information provided by the cameras fed to your system even tho you are observing from a different viewpoint. Combine with other technology and no more false arrests or shooting the wrong person as instant ID would show you the person you’re about to do something to isnt who you thought they were…children detected in the automobile, do not fire, Combine with Road and Radar and traffic cameras so you can “see” an accident up ahead (even though your smart car was already aware and automatically slowing down and taking an alt route), etc etc. Sure, sounds all Sci Fi right now, but a lot of these technologies already exist in one form or another, a few more years of advancement, tying them together and with something like a working version of the contacts shown would be a game changer. As always, technology isnt good or bad, depends on the person/organization using it (at least until AI decides its own course of action). Interesting times ahead!!!

Wish they could do this with a light weight eye frame for prescription and non prescription glasses. I don't know how the body would handle all that tech in side a organ. Any device you use produces heat as it runs and as you input commands it heats up slowly, you play a game or start browsing videos or google maps you could notice heat rise even faster. A computer Monitor and TV screen cause a little heat when they are just displaying.. Batteries and the power source also heat. I can see a lot of retina, Corneal burn and other injury with this and a few lawsuits.
Eyes are the sensible part in human body and you're placing sensors, batteries, screen, and some amount of energy into them. So many risky things are involved.
Exactly! they would be better off starting with a lightweight eye frame and lenses that can do this 1st. As that could be prescription strength or no prescription so anyone could just pick up a pair.
I really think this is AMAZING! Thank you for your hard work! I would like to ask, what is the impact of your device on the health of a user considering that you would need a WiFi signal to operate it. Your eyes are an external part of your brain.
When you close your eyes , I should be in a vr world with my old memories that I’ve seen with the contact lenses.
Or whatever else I’ll like to experience!
I have so many ideas
I hope not. Most people would stay home all day reliving memories instead of making new ones. See how lazy some people are now?
With reliving memories, it would be 1000 times worse.
Some things belong in the past. That kind of tech could ruin humanity.
Imagine you're driving and the screen goes all black
Can this help vission corrections?
So I'm wondering...Are all these necessary? I mean, for real. Do we really need this technology? To do what? Seeing the stars and the constellations? Watching the speed when we're riding a bike? Recognizing a human with his name and profession? C'mon guys. These are definitely unnecessary and more like "suspicious", as this technology can easily destroy your privacy and others, changing our lives to the worse. Don't you prefer the "classic" way of living?

@@abdullahalbayrak6297Thank you man
I don’t think we really need many of the modern day convenience’s but I could see this beneficial for watching an ar game or concert and for seamless travel directions. There is up and coming virtual fashion (filters) l this technology could bring impossible fashion to the real world.
Bro, just don't buy it and live your life as you want lol. Why come out hating like that? Let people do what they want, they're not harming you with a personal technology device. Chill....
@@jrvalanze Are you offended or something? Am I not allowed to say something that I believe that it will make our lives less private? If you're fun of it just go and buy it when it'll be available, don't bother us
When I was a kid we didn’t have those new fangled contacts to see crap that wasn’t there.
We took lsd and was thankful for what we had.
Lmao trust me we still do that
Putting a super thin sheet of electronics right on my eye ball, what could possibly go wrong. Its not like if it breaks it should shatter and get stuck in your eye socket and blind you for life.
How do you solve the battery
So we know that many hours behind a laptop, computer or even phone screen is changing the cones and rods in the ocular unless you have blue lenses. While that is amazing on one level, what does it do to the eye… yet alone the mind?
Same thing your phone does. Selfies and likes.
I would love to try these out and see how they do on my eyes
Future is amazing!
How does it power up? That is my question.
One fear I have with this technology is how much information we choose to share. It is entirely conceivable this technology links to social media and a complex AI can feed accurate information about someone's sexuality, political beliefs, religion, citizenship status, etc... The potential is to liberate humanity, or enslave it.
It's being used to enslave it I had dinner with a man wearing these just flew in from DC you think perverts want live streaming video of hot women to pass around right and unchecked
Hate to tell ya, your phone already does that.
Math Teacher: *“Wait! Tyrone has suddenly become a good student? But I legit haven't seen him attending the class this week! Who know?”*

How will lens know who is standing right now in front of me? As you say, it'll work without tracking?
2:35 oh yeah,
i hope you are skilled in quantum physics
cant wait for you to build a time machine and a teleporter
Can I use I phone or android app using this contact lens?
Imagine how uncomfortable this would be
Please 🙏 where to buy them as soon as possible 🙏
wow, what a ground breaking idea. Such a shame we, as humans, are going to fuck this all up and make a living hell out of it. Besides that, awesome
How does it affect your eyes? Especially long-term.
Long-term side effects?
It's gonna be another Theranos, mark my words.
Yup.
What’s that

I have eye issues associated with my ankylosing spondylitis would this still work while having a uveitis flare up or not sure how to spell it senicia?? (Iris sticking to the pupil)
Nothing comes up without side effects, i love the concept however i feel this can never be good for eyes health, would definitely affect human body in adverse way. Gotta wait till we see the results but do love the concept here. I hope this is as practical as this ad shows
Can it also correct vision
AR glasses aren't even a thing yet and magic leap has had billions put into it and they are gonna give us the next level with AR contacts?
they are
Ar glasses have been a thing for years dude what
@@kineticskylines AR is not VR dude. There has been no worked out AR on the market. Magic leap was a massive failure.
@@Digital_Matthew Name one then.
@@WaterspoutsOfTheDeep google glass was a thing remember?? Razer even sells ar glasses currently. Im not arguing that they are a thing that is good or that is useful but they are most definitely a thing. Apologies if i misunderstood your comment
How does the image gets onto the eye? It is not focused in anyway at this surface.
You're right, I can't wait to see this become available to the average user. I believe they might even be one particularly for people like police, doctors, etc as they provide a service most people don't
So this can help with those that has eye sight problems as well help with driving at night or in general..
with the way things are going for us as a society, I'm starting to feel that in another 30 or 40 years, we'll be telling our grandchildren that, yes there was this magic thing called electricity as we huddle around our cave fire.
That's only if liberals are still in power. It's not too late to change that.
@@mywifesboyfriend5558 I sure hope so. with Brandon at the wheel we're just about to hit that rusted out guardrail along the cliff's edge as it is.
It sits on top not inside the eye also they showed you its basic information in one color its not playing GTA 5 on your contacts lol
Now do we have to charge the lens
I really think this is AMAZING! Thank you for your hard work! I would like to ask, what is the impact of your device on the health of a user considering that you would need a WiFi signal to operate it. Your eyes are an external part of your brain. This needs to take first priority in your considerations. If you are damaging your users all your fantastic effort goes to waste.
yeah its all GREAT WE CAN HELP ALMOST BLIND but what about how itll work with regualtions/health etc, i heard you see menu non stop so would you see it even if you blink wont it put mental strain?
Ok. I absolutely need this. For my job it would be extraordinary
this is the vision lol. the product you are going to get will probably just show you the time lol
Haha with minor tweaks over the next 20 years
maybe on the first iteration, but try to remember what phones could do 30 years ago, barely more than just ringing
The amount of people thinking this is a good idea scares me
I was about to comment the same thing.🤦🏽♀️ Lord remove all deception and open their eyes. In the mighty name of Jesus🙏🏽
Oh wtf. Grow up.
I agree.
This is either a trailer for that Black Mirror episode, or that episode was a warning for this device.
p.s. I'd totally purchase this tho
This is gonna make humans more dependent, and less and less competent in real life .
Yep.
Would this be sold on Amazon and what would the name of it be on Amazon too?

A smart contact lens needs to see everything you see. It's a 24/7 webcam. With 5G making ultrahigh-bandwidth applications possible, this lens can effectively send everything you see to Mojo (and to anyone who pays or compels them, such as government agencies).
pls launch this product as soon as possible: A student
