100% agree with y'all on the food. We had a 4 day turned into a 6 day when we got caught in the hurricane two years ago and had a chance to try a lot of food. It's a huge step up from the original cruise ships. The pizza was even better. We're with you Justin, we love doing Laundry on vacation cause once we get home we don't have to deal with it and we just put it away. As DVC members we get that perk at Disney, might as well use it. We never went to the kids club and regret it. The adult area is horrible. It was people soup 😅 And omg good analogy! We felt that way too. Like if we were interrupting people and like we weren't invited. We did do the Rainforest room and that's where they put all the space for adults but it's a bummer that you have to pay for it. There's two hot tubs and you have to pay for the whole duration. There's no single day admissions sadly. Length of cruise rather. And wow, we didn't know about no pizza for room service since we didn't use it. Chip and Dale pool was always swamped for us. :( We really wanted to use it. Next time! Nighttime Pizza as we like to call it and fries were one of our favorite comfort foods for the Wish hands down. We feel the same about the shows while dining. They're amazing but not I'm so glad I take my Loops for noise reduction. When we were extended for the hurricane, they didn't do the show and they just fed us. I really hope they change the adult areas on the future ships but I don't think they will. But that won't be a deterrent from going.
I enjoy seeing other people from Idaho doing Disney trips like my wife and I do. Thanks for sharing your adventures. We were just on the Fantasy at the end of February and were able to get room service pizza. I would be mad not being able to do that too. Love my pizza.
New subscriber, My main issue with the Wish is the short sailings, I think the Wish would be better suited to a 7 day itinerary. Hopefully Disney makes that an option in the future.
We just cruised on the Dream in March and couldn’t get pizza room service either!!! My kids are so picky so when we ordered room service I asked if we could get a cheese pizza for the kids and they said “no, we don’t offer room service pizza”. I was really surprised but it was our first Disney cruise so I thought this was always the norm!
I love the reviews! Our b2b is this summer and I’m glad I chose to do that because of the super short itineraries. I’m excited to explore it all and see as much as I can. And the food! Bummer about the adult spaces but it’s ok. I’ll just book the other ships for that. The laundry looks awesome! For the longest time I didn’t do laundry on the ship too but eventually I gave in. It’s nice that it’s all in one spot because like Justin said, I would often go to a laundromat and it was full and had to go to another. The loudness and over stimulation would just be too much 😂 I love theming, I do, but I love how Lacey said you don’t have to be entertained 24/7. I wonder if the volume would be lowered, would it make a difference. I hear what you’re saying about Tianas for example. It is loud, but I don’t know if I’d call that a “show” really. Parts are kind of a show but it was mostly lovely jazz playing. It was loud, especially if you’re right by the stage, but it wasn’t too bad. Mardi Gras night is a whole thing but spaced out ok. Was the Frozen show the whole time? Everything I’ve seen about Arendelle restaurant makes me want to plug my ears 😂 Wow, #1 ranking. Ok. Makes me even more excited to see what it’s all about. Such a great video with really good information! We never ordered room service (crazy right?!)! I tried on our recent cruise on the Wonder and ended up not ordering anything. They asked if I had any allergies and when I told them that I have a walnut allergy, they said they’d have to cook everything separately for me and it would take almost an hour. I ended up not ordering anything because I didn’t want to wait that long. We hope to get on the Wish someday but prefer sailing on the Treasure first. We’ll be on the Dream in December. 🚢
I’m planning a girls trip no kids 3 day in the wish. Do you think if we did the rainforest room as well that it would be relaxing and maybe go to the pool in the morning on the adult area? Was there a time that seems less busy in the adult area?

The Wish sounds so really cool! The style and decor looks so pretty. Your points about the shows during dinner makes a lot of sense and I think I'd feel similar. I've only been on the Wonder, over a decade ago, but look forward to taking our on a Disney Cruise once she's old enough to remember it!
With regards to the Oceaneer Club - did you have magic bands for the kids or did you get them once on the Wish? I read that if you get one from the Oceaneer Club it’s more akin to a rental but you can buy it at the end of the cruise? What do you recommend?
Great question! Yes, we received them during check-in before we embarked. They charge your account with a pending charge until you return the band at the end of the cruise. If you don’t return it, they will charge you. We used to keep it as a little souvenir, but we usually return them now.
Was on the Dream in March and they have changed room service e menu- less options. No BLT or pizza. That was the only negative comment we left on the comment cards. How spoiled are we. Lol😂
We've sailed the Wish twice.. least favorite ship - by A LOT... not saying I wouldn't sail it again - all disney cruises are great... but of all their ships, we aren't fans of this one. Like a commentator below, we got "stuck" on an extended cruise due to a hurricane so we spent a lot of time exploring. Despite that, still our least favorite.
Right on! It's super hard for us to rank ships because, like you said, cruises are great! I think, for us, the food was so much better with more options. I believe that's the main reason. Looking forward to the Treasure, however!
I just tried to watch the latest Disney animated movie Wish. I had to stop watching less than five minutes into it. The quality of the CGI and the background conflicted so much it was noticeable. This is the poorest animated movie I have ever seen. It reminded me of Hanna Barberas Yogi Bear quality cartoons.

I’ve sailed on the Wish three times now and I would sail on her again in a heartbeat. There is still so much we haven’t experienced. On our 4 night cruise, we had pirate night in Arendelle and it was a much calmer experience. We absolutely adore 1923 and World of Marvel. I completely agree with your thoughts on the adults only area. I didn’t care for it. The Chip and Dale pool is definitely a hidden gem.
So we sailed in June. Platinum sailors, so we're well versed in the Disney way and our pro's and cons are a bit different. We DID find the elevators weirdly compact-- and for what reason? Disney shouldn't EVER make anything smaller. It just doesn't make sense. There's full demand for these cruises years in advance so don't condense anything. Same with the venues for the smaller events. Very "cozy." In this day of covid and the ever-present noruvirus pushing people from all over the world into smaller spaces is again, a huge mistake. I agree with your take on the adult pool. It's smaller and feels congested with only 6 or 7 adults in it. Please fire the person or team who came up with this idea. They probably work for your competitors and are double agents, lolol!! Pro's are that the ship is so pretty-- the food was again- delicious! They do need to work on the food servers in Marceline Market. More than once we encountered Cast members who looked like they'd rather be anywhere else than there. Which I understand feeling that way at work sometimes, but you need to pick a different employer than Disney Cruise Line. We enjoyed ourselves and were happy to explore a new ship. We'll do a different ship next time, though.
They have two hot tubs in the outside Rain Forest area & only the one in the adult area. I think the whole adult area is a joke & unfortunately the other two ships will probably be the same 😢 Seas the adventure is my favorite show too! That was my favorite pool too! The concierge deck has two hot tubs and an area between them with a very small bench pool you can’t even sit in the water it’s that small

Mine will be 6 and 4 on our cruise. 3. Do you recommend a magicband+ for the kids? 4. What’s the protocol if a kid wants to contact their parents to leave? 5. Are there snacks or meals served in the kids clubs? 6. Other than the nursery, you don’t need to reserve certain hours and it’s a drop off/pickup anytime within their business hours, right? I will agree the food was better I'll miss the Deck food when I'm on the Magic. I liked the adult pool, but on short cruises I usually use it on Castaway Cay days when its empty. Room Service, I ordered once and that's it I'll try to order pizza on the Magic in August though lol. 1923 was my favorite menu as well, besides palo. I don't think we will see Wish doing longer cruises for a few years at least with Treasure coming out. Surprising your favorite is the Wish. I honestly can't pick after 31 almost 32(come August), I enjoy seeing crew I know more then ships. I hope to cruise Wish again though
Totally agree with you about no issue with the placement of the elevators!! And I just wanted more time to experience the food! That’s why I’m excited for the treasure to have a 7 night itinerary. I’m so glad you loved the cruise!! I loved the food on the Wish. As for the shows, I agree. They’re very busy and overstimulating. I personally wouldn’t skip the rotational dining if only because I love the servers and food. I didn’t see much of the Frozen show from our table, regardless. It’ll be all new next time😂 The Marvel restaurant I loved the show and music.
The Wish is one and done for now because I’m not a fan of 3/4 night cruises. Love the ship, the design, many aspects, but would rather do a longer cruise and different itineraries. Also agree with your take about the food. I loved the pool deck food, but the restaurants weren’t great. Also, the tight tables were a challenge. That being said, the menus on the other four ships haven’t changed much in many years. My feeling is that all ship menus could use a revamp. And yet, we are sailing next month and have the Treasure booked for 2025. 😊 Still love DCL!

I am kind of skeptical to go on the Wish bc fomo with the short sailings and it having so much going on. Also my husband and I love having a less stimulating dinner experience. We already prefer the late dining time and always request private table. We are going on the Magic next month for my birthday and so excited bc it’s our first time, and it looks like the show at Rapunzel’s is not constant singing and performing. I don’t mind a dinner show, but I also want to be able to go to that restaurant and JUST enjoy the atmosphere. And the pool situation doesn’t look as appealing bc we really take advantage of the Quiet Cove.
Hallways that lead to nowhere, lame out of the way adult only pool, tiny Cove cafe, Arendelle is a total disaster being so loud and cramped. Hate these Triton class ships! Been on 15 Disney cruises and hoping the Fantasy sticks around here in Florida.
I have a general cruise question! I seen in your previous Disney vlogs you guys did cabanas on your last breakfast, which I don’t even know this was a thing and I definitely want to try this on our next cruise. But my question is, if your doing 1st dining and decide to do just the buffet for breakfast, do you have to be out of your room super early or could you have your breakfast there around time of second dining breakfast?
They for sure do have hot tubs in the rainforest room on the dream and fantasy that have an ocean view! It’s my fav spot on the ship! I’m sure there’s videos you can see it online but it’s a must on the fantasy or dream (if you have the time). I agree anything under 5 nights it’s hard to find the time to actually use it - with the kids on the cruise too. Even with a 7 night I’m not sure we got our $ worth out of it.
In one of our old videos we also guessed the names of the new ships...we said wish, adventure, believe. So we got 2 right. Adventure is the other new ship they are redoing an old ship for asia. Sorry so many comments this video lol.

If you ever go on the wish again and want a certain room design.... We have the list of what each room is. And we know which floors will be what for the treasure too for room themeing!
Also, we had Rapunzel’s two nights in a row (4 night cruise), and they only did the show on the first night. I loved having a show-free dinner in that room the second night as I felt the same as you in that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sit through the show again.

I will agree the food was better I'll miss the Deck food when I'm on the Magic. I liked the adult pool, but on short cruises I usually use it on Castaway Cay days when its empty. Room Service, I ordered once and that's it I'll try to order pizza on the Magic in August though lol. 1923 was my favorite menu as well, besides palo. I don't think we will see Wish doing longer cruises for a few years at least with Treasure coming out. Surprising your favorite is the Wish. I honestly can't pick after 31 almost 32(come August), I enjoy seeing crew I know more then ships. I hope to cruise Wish again though
Totally agree with you about no issue with the placement of the elevators!! And I just wanted more time to experience the food! That’s why I’m excited for the treasure to have a 7 night itinerary. And I so appreciate the time you put into editing your videos and all the b roll you put over top of these videos while you are talking! Just awesome.
I’m so glad you loved the cruise!! I loved the food on the Wish. As for the shows, I agree. They’re very busy and overstimulating. I personally wouldn’t skip the rotational dining if only because I love the servers and food. I didn’t see much of the Frozen show from our table, regardless. It’ll be all new next time😂 The Marvel restaurant I loved the show and music.
The Wish is one and done for now because I’m not a fan of 3/4 night cruises. Love the ship, the design, many aspects, but would rather do a longer cruise and different itineraries.
Also agree with your take about the food. I loved the pool deck food, but the restaurants weren’t great. Also, the tight tables were a challenge.
That being said, the menus on the other four ships haven’t changed much in many years. My feeling is that all ship menus could use a revamp.
And yet, we are sailing next month and have the Treasure booked for 2025. 😊 Still love DCL!
The worst poorly designed Disney ship I’ve been on . The pools if you can call them are wading pools . Hallways narrow . Rooms were smaller

I am kind of skeptical to go on the Wish bc fomo with the short sailings and it having so much going on. Also my husband and I love having a less stimulating dinner experience. We already prefer the late dining time and always request private table. We are going on the Magic next month for my birthday and so excited bc it’s our first time, and it looks like the show at Rapunzel’s is not constant singing and performing. I don’t mind a dinner show, but I also want to be able to go to that restaurant and JUST enjoy the atmosphere. And the pool situation doesn’t look as appealing bc we really take advantage of the Quiet Cove.
Hallways that lead to nowhere, lame out of the way adult only pool, tiny Cove cafe, Arendelle is a total disaster being so loud and cramped. Hate these Triton class ships! Been on 15 Disney cruises and hoping the Fantasy sticks around here in Florida.
I have a general cruise question! I seen in your previous Disney vlogs you guys did cabanas on your last breakfast, which I don’t even know this was a thing and I definitely want to try this on our next cruise. But my question is, if your doing 1st dining and decide to do just the buffet for breakfast, do you have to be out of your room super early or could you have your breakfast there around time of second dining breakfast?
They for sure do have hot tubs in the rainforest room on the dream and fantasy that have an ocean view! It’s my fav spot on the ship! I’m sure there’s videos you can see it online but it’s a must on the fantasy or dream (if you have the time). I agree anything under 5 nights it’s hard to find the time to actually use it - with the kids on the cruise too. Even with a 7 night I’m not sure we got our $ worth out of it.
In one of our old videos we also guessed the names of the new ships...we said wish, adventure, believe. So we got 2 right. Adventure is the other new ship they are redoing an old ship for asia.

If you ever go on the wish again and want a certain room design.... We have the list of what each room is.
And we know which floors will be what for the treasure too for room themeing!

We just got off the Magic last week and couldn’t get pizza through room service either! AND no pie of the day! 😭
Also, we had Rapunzel’s two nights in a row (4 night cruise), and they only did the show on the first night. I loved having a show-free dinner in that room the second night as I felt the same as you in that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sit through the show again.
What?! NO!!! That makes me so sad!
