Thank you. I had started 'Mythomorphia' but find Kerby's illustrations very time-consuming so it has been abandoned for a while. I don't have any other books of his because I have a strict self-imposed rule of purchasing a new coloring book only after completing one. Really excited about his upcoming book so hopefully that'll give me motivation. Cheers! 😁
Thank you. I tend to use watercolor/acrylic paint for backgrounds in Kerby's books. Sometimes I add pencils for extra detail but rarely have the patience to do a full background in pencils only.
Merci! I mostly used colored pencils but for backgrounds, sometimes acrylic paint/watercolors with very little water. It's usually too much water that makes the colors seep to the other side. Hope this helps. :)
@@SuzyNuyos woow that's a lot. How do you do that? Just colour in one book until it's finished?. I have colored pages and wips all over the place haha XD ;p
@@missstarbuck I tend to binge color in one book until I'm absolutely tired of it and move on to another, with usually about 3 books in rotation and when eventually one gets completed, I find another book to add to the cycle. After acquiring around 30 books in the beginning of this hobby I made a rule for myself to buy a new book only after completing one, which gave me motivation to enjoy what I have. (It also helped out my wallet. hehehe) I don't have WIPs, only the current page I'm working on. (^_^)
@@SuzyNuyos oh wauw. Respect hihi! . But good cycle though ^_^ . I really want to finish a book someday, so i might try it :D. Thanks ^_^ But you must been coloring almost every day i suppose hi hi . This is so gorgeous! 😀 Love all your completed books. I've only ever finished one book (Enchanted Forest by JB) and I'm trying to complete Romantic Country 3 at the moment🙂 hope it turns out as beautiful as yours! 😊 Are you in the process of completing any more books at the moment?
Thank you. EF must have took long with all the details and RC3 is such a pretty book, hope you have fun completing it. :) Currently have 2 books to film and upload before the year is over and some others with only a few pages left so they'll probably be up early next year. Cheers.
Well done! You have a lot to be proud of! Your work is amazing, to be able to finish the entire book with out mistakes WOW! You are an inspiration to me, so often I sit in front of a new page and my mind goes blank, do you have a process for ideas? Books that have lists of flowers help me, I can Google the flower copy an image then use that for to select colors. Your imagination is so beautiful wish there was a way like Dr Spock to mind meld with you for ideas. Would you mind if I copied part of your work when I get stuck? Thank you for sharing your talent you have given me a shot of inspiration, Bye, off to start a new picture.
Thank you. I don't think there are true "mistakes" in coloring unless you spill coffee or tea all over your book - which I have done... 😅 It's just that sometimes the end result doesn't turn out the way you thought it would and trust me, that happens to me a lot. But in the end, it's just coloring. Even if I do "mess up", I learn not to do that the next time. You have to take the cringe pages along with the happy ones. As for inspiration, I love art and illustration and my favorite pastime is going to art museums and galleries. The pandemic has made me spend a ridiculous amount of time on Google's Art & Culture page. I don't mind you referring to my coloring pages at all - feel free to do so - but I hope you will feel comfortable enough while coloring to do your own thing and personalize it. The more you do so, the easier it gets, and you'll be less critical of the "mistakes" as well. Have fun! Cheers. 😃
Ah, thank you very much. I don't keep track of the actual hours I spend coloring but I'm one of those people who just has to finish things they've started and I don't buy/start new books unless I've nearly finished one, so it's usually a batch of 3-4 books I focus on during a period of time, with a selection of books ranging from cute and simple to super detailed for variety. That allows me to complete books at a steady pace. Inky Ivy took the longest in overall hours spent during the course of a year, followed by Animorphia. I have been tackling Hanna Karlzon for over 2 years now and I think it'll take another year before I complete a book of hers. (So many details.) Cheers.
Wow very pretty. Well done thanks for sharing Kerry
Thank you so much.
Fantastic completed book. Have you almost completed any of his other books? Which is your favourite out of all his books? Cheers Ness xx

A job well done! The word that you did in filling out the pages is awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Aw, thank you so much!
What do you use for background is it watercolor or colour pencils. Beautiful backgrounds in this video .

Nice job on filling those "almost-blank" pages :)
Thank you. I had fun with those. (^_^)

Great job. Love to watch. 💯💯👍👍how many weeks or months did you need to finish the book ?
Thank you. This took me about a year, but I colored in several other books during that time.

did you use cryons or paints? i cannot tell the difference
I like to use water mediums (watercolors or acrylics) as base and go over with pencils. 🙂
Beautiful work! What did you use to colour the backgrounds?
Thank you. Mostly acrylic and watercolors for the backgrounds. They're okay to use with the right balance of water.
What an achievement. Good job
I'm completely blown away. Do you ever list how long it took you to complete each book? Do you use one bag at a time absolutely stunning book
