- Trying out some new things to fix my very ugly and damaged hair! This is a first impressions and review for the Ion Crystal Clarifying Treatment. In the beginning, I also give a little background info about my hair. Does it work or not?

Growing up we had well water. Couldn't have white clothes or anything from the iron in the water. People thought I was strawberry blonde, but most of the red was from the iron. I used to put lemon juice directly on my dry hair, leave on for about 45 minutes wrapped up in a grocery bag. When washing you could see the iron run out of my hair when rinsing. If you put a blow dryer to it, till it almost hardens on your hair then wash, it will slightly lighten your hair and bring out very natural looking highlights.
So, I was Sally's today (after neglecting my hair and myself for the past couple years or so-ish with being stuck at home fromm Covid). I saw the Ion Color color solutions crystal clarifying treatment. I hadn't seen this product before (lol tells you how long it's been since I've done my hair😅). I found the instructions on the packet a bit confusing especially to what the Sally's employee was telling me about how to use it. (she was awesome overall...just so people don't take that the wrong way as people seem to take something innocent and either twist or interpret it as a complaint or some form of negativity these days... she rocked ovrrall and gave great advice and opinions and helping me overall and being so kind....anyway.....). Even without her explanation, the instructions are a bit confusing.
I came across this video and i would like to say how much I love your positive and humorous outlook and commentary. I'm not one to sit through UA-cam videos, but I did through yours and thought you did a great job. Loved your explanations of senses and process and afterwards. It seemed quite authentic compared to the ones I end up skipping through.

I'm going to try it. I have hard water too. Question for you, when you mixed water did you use your regular hard water? I'm going to use our reverse osmosis water with my mix to see if that will be better. Since I'm trying to get rid of the minerals. Fingers crossed!!
belinda garza Yeah definitely give it a shot! I didn't use my regular tap water in the mixture. I used water that I buy from the store to drink to make sure it wouldn't mess it up in any way. Let me know how it works for you!

Your hair colour looks really improved after. Maybe its going to take a few uses to get the level of clarifying you are looking for.

I used the Ion clarifying Crystal's on my gray hair and NOW my hair is orange! I'm so mad!!! And Sally's beauty supply recommended it to TAKE THE GOLDEN OUT OF MY GRAY. Now Sally's isnt open due to CORONA VIRUS!I'm so flipping mad
Were you able to fix it? I hope so. I'm about to try to use it before I dye my hair 3V after a year or so of not dying it. The packet/s I bought look different from the video. It is the same thing though. I just found the instructions to be a bit confusing.
I'm sure Sally's was/is available online. I've ordered from SALLY'S online. Hope this helps you for future reference and I hope that you were able to undo it.
I'm hoping since I plan to use it to cleanse my hair before I dye it, I won't experience any issues. Fingers crossed.
Sadly, my mom's hair dryer broke right after filming this video. RIP 😢😂
