I work at a tire shop and I always try and use our rubber attachment for the tire changer on expensive cars. Even with the metal one it's hard to mess up rims unless you're trying to force the tires down on to the rims the wrong way. Had a McLaren 570 with black rims come through I promise you those wheels looked spotless when I was done with it 🫡
