Some people feel sorry for coyotes ..... don't because there are a lot of videos on youtube showing how pets are attacked and I am sure they would eat a 2 year old child as well. Where I work we have them and every time I get under a rail car to hook up steam and unloading hoses I listen carefully so I don't get attacked. Coyotes are cute and adorable to look at. With that said, stay away from them. They will eat your cats, dogs, children, lambs, calves, foals, fawns, pheasants, etc., etc. Coyote overpopulation puts them in conflict with everything. We both purposely and inadvertently feed them with everything from our livestock to our pet food (and pets!). Homo sapiens sapiens are the coyote's only real predator. Numbers are watched and bag limits change. Hunting of this type is one of our more successful efforts at keeping nature "natural" and without an overburden of mangy, starving coyotes in areas their prey no longer exists due to their presence. We don't have a choice. Nature cares not for the feelings of the few.

22-250 is a great bolt gun caliber for coyotes! I run a 223 AR
