Starter motors are designed to be operated for a maximum of about 30 seconds, with a 1 to 2 minute cool-down period between operation cycles. If you try to operate them continuously under load, you will wind up with melted down rotor and stator windings
cause drivers don't exist and not putting the full amperage to it definitly doesnt change the heat factor... come on man... Notice the 24V mark on his driver? US uses 12v, but euro and asian markets have quite a few 24v starters, which requires about half the copper and produces MUCH less heat.... and are more efficient, as they use half the amperage they have less resistive losses... they are more fragile to heat, but generate MUCH less of it.
when dealing with hundreds of watts, go with 12v. when dealing with thousands? 24v. When dealing with 10+kv? 48... when dealing with 6 figures? might as well look into AC inverters and step up transformers.
This is why microwaves work off of mains. they need the 120v to push out both 2.2k but ALSO high amperage. that, and induction is just resistive heating in DC, as induction transformers only work in AC. Exactly why you need ignition drivers and relays for your coil's to work, as the on-off frequency makes it alternating. Your plugs only fire when the current is broken(ie. the circuit is disconnected at the relay/driver) which happens between 10 and hundreds or thousands of times per second depending on your motor/coils and RPMs.
notice how tesla coils are upwards into the potential millions of volts but dont melt themselves yet welders are usually 10-50 volts output but their amperage is like 50-500 range? Current pulls heat, voltage helps dissipate the potential.
Wood insulates at low voltage. 2000+ volts? GREAT conductor...

i would NOT recommend drilling or cutting or even welding to the bike frame as that would compromise the structural integrity.
there are clamps that can go around the frame tubes and hold stuff on.

Sorry, but this will not really work well.
The starter motor is built for 12V. You use 24V battery. More power. But it will overheat after a few minutes or burn through.
The battery is to small. You will run out of power very soon.
The motor is not strong enough even for small hills. You will have to walk and push the bike.
It would be useable if there were still pedals. So the motor can assist you.
Maybe front wheel drive could be easier to realise.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
