It's been a very long time since I last REALLY paid attention to the beauty and detail that Eorzea has to offer. Sometimes I just get too caught up in text and numbers. This was a great reminder of why I fell in love with this game to begin with.
Its been 10 years of playing this game, and about the same amount of time watching your content. I remember when you hosted a End of ARR party on Excalibur. Thank you for a decade of making happiness in this community. I keep revisiting this video all these years later as my personal favorite work you did early on, as it really showed off how beautiful this game is.
Great work Denmo :3 In what interval did you take the screenshots? And congrats on getting the moving timelapses so smooth, guess it must be a PITA to move with just the right speed and not change the camera angle.
Niya Kouya The screenshots were mostly taken at 1 second intervals. But some of them were 2, 3, 4, and even on up to like 10 seconds. The smooth movements were thanks to a program made by @ValeourM that let me repeat keys at the same timed intervals. so i could program how I wanted to move that way. (but I had to leave the computer alone for awhile)
Is this game worth it? The only MMO I really got addicted to was World of Warcraft, but as of right now, i'm staying away from it. And majority of MMO's I try don't catch my attention.
If you like Final Fantasy this stands up with the best of them. It may be online but you can play the game like it was single player through till the end.
It depends on what you're looking for in an MMO. FFXIV offers a great PvE content for both casual and more hardcore players. The community is one of the best I've seen in an MMO, people are really nice, but in like every MMO there's always bad apples, but they're not the majority. PvP is there, it's fun, but it's not the game's strong point (yet). Right now the PvP system lacks depth in my opinion, which I'm sure they'll add at some point down the line. Content is added regularly (usually every 3 months), which include new dungeons, raid, items and sometimes new classes (Ninja was added in 2.4). Music and graphics are a really strong point about this game, if you've got a good set up you'll be astonished by how beautiful the game is. Also, another big thing, the first expansion for the game (Heavensward) should be coming out in a couple of months from now I think, introducing 3 new jobs (Machinist, Dark Knight, Astrologian) a new race and a buttload of new content. I'm pretty sure a LOT will change when the expansion comes out, so keep an eye out for that in case you don't decide to try the game right now. I almost forgot that there's a 2 week trial, which allows you to get up to level 20 and see a little bit of the game (obviously there are some restrictions). If you end up playing the game and choose Hyperion as your world don't hesitate to contact me (I'm Jin Torama), I'll help you out on the early levels and guide you through a little bit. Keep in mind that there are time restrictions when it comes to creating characters on certain worlds. Best time to create a character is early in the morning (EST). Hope to see you in game, good luck and have fun!

You make my favorite videos. Between this, Dance Eorzea Dance, and all the Mr Face videos. You rock Denmo!

3:56 good fat chocobo
cool
What recording program do you use?
Dxtory exkode.com/dxtory-features-en.html
pay-once-own-forever type program. Very very worth the payment. Better than FRAPS imo.
Staggering *u*
