Happy to see your collection! Lots of interesting rare stuff I haven't really seen much of before. A delight seeing the artwork on a lot of those old Johto cards. I don't care much for grading, but I would say all the shining pokemon, and Charizards for sure.
Thanks for watching and your insight! 😃
all the first ed holos especially that entei that card is crazy valuable
Pikablue! Core memory unlocked dude! I totally forgot about that! You definitely have a number of cards fit for grading. Anything 1 edition basically and any holo in good condition in base set. Thanks for sharing, was great to watch!
Thanks for the info! Pikablue really spread around the community. I had no idea!
Honestly asking should I grade these cards is like asking should I take my old corvette to a car show. Well yes.
Do you want to save your cards in the condition they are in now? Or do you want to sell?
The way you’re describing the cards so accurately it sounds like you already know if they’re worth grading based on what they are! Gotta look at condition closely. We can’t do that through the screen
25 year old collection pulls out scarlet 151 cards lololololol
the e3 pikachu is definetly worth grading and the neo lugia
You have a lot of cool cards, regardless of value.
In my opinion, you can grade for two purposes, one is to add value in future sale the other to preserve a card you like.
That being said, the value ones people already gave you good feedback, second is solely based on personal opinion.
To see card condition is best to buy a magnifier lens with a good light built in to check condition.
Avoid sending cards with holo scratches, bent, marks or whitening unless card value in any grade is worth it.
You should add a good binder, without o-rings, those destroy your cards.
Also, it's very important to sleeve cards, it's really cheap and prevents cards getting ruined.
I'm so glad im not the only one who remembers Pikablue!
I'm so surprised so many others did! That's so awesome!
Dang you got some great cards here. I haven't graded any of my cards, but a great place to start for checking value is looking at sold prices on auction sites or tcgplayer. Some definite high values would be the Shining Gyrados, the Umbreon from Neo Discovery, Light Dragonite, Shining Celebi, Shining Raichu, Shining Mewtwo (basically any "Shining" card), the base set 1st gen starters, and Dark Charizard. The Southern Island set is pretty valuable. You have a ton of cards (and duplicates) that are $50+ especially in that first binder. I love the feeling of going through an old collection and reliving some of the memories. I ended up selling a handful of my cards including my Light Dragonite and Dark Blastoise and I definitely regret it :(
It was crazy to remember a lot of the stories and memories of getting these cards. I bet it gets really hard to sell when they have so much meaning behind them! Thanks for the information! Very helpful!
I’m confused. The Korean cards have images from the most recent 151 set. These are not from your 1999 binders. This video is a joke right?
all vintage holos the shining as well
Use a decent compamy to grade ie PSA, Beckett or CGC only. If you think they are in decent condition,Cards to grade 1st Edition Lugia; Red cheeks base 1st edition Pika, 1st Edition Entei, 1st edition Suicine, Blaine's Charizard, Erika Venusaur, Giovanni Gyrados, Shining Gyrados, Moon Umbreon, Reverse RAichu,Shining Celebi, Shining RAICHU, Shininh Mewtwo, Base Zards,Blastoise base, Base Venusauer, Dark Zard, Here comes team rocket as secret rare I think.
Thank you!! 🙏
