Ma'am, there would be a mistake in the time reversal/reflection operation as I guess. Let's say the points -3 and 2 in x axis, then you reflect it, we need to have -2 and 3. As well as, that's caused covering the reflected area.
What if you shift after reversal ? For purpose of performing linear convolution? What to do when two or more operations are involved? It would've been nice if you included that. Nice video.
When it is (t-2) you consider it as t-2=0. So you get t=2 which is positive. That's why you have a right shift. When it is (t+2) the value of t=-2. That's why left shift
I have a question mam..plz answer Question - if a function f(t) u(t) is shifted to right side by t0 then function will be expressed as (a) f(t) u(t-t0) (b) f(t-t0) u(t-t0)
@@saitejaameda3389 we know that t is shifted to t0 as we it is a unit step signal means it is equal to 1 when we multiply a signal with one that is t0 multiplied with one we get f(t0)

Amazing......your explaination is very easier to understand.....thank you madam🙏
Mam u are a amazing teacher . this explanation was soo good
Ma'am , your explanation is very easy to understand . Thank you so much .
Really amazing mam i was not getting these concepts from book and videos but your explanation make me understand very easily thankyou 😍😍
Although i am watching after 3yr still i got some clarification my doubts
Thank you so much ma'am
I love you ma'am

Extraordinary class, good explanation madam...
Thank you so much.
You are great and explain very friendly 😊 thanku.........
tq mam....your control system classes are helped to me ,to get good marks...in cs
Thank you so much .....its helps to learn me more ....😍😍
Relevant and explanatory

Exactly i am wondering
Thank uh madam❤
I love u mam tq u for good speaching
Thank you so much mam....it helps us a lot
U r saviour😊
Thankk you
Mam you teach realy very good. Great healp
Excellent way of explanation.
Your teaching is fabulous
Very helpful 🙏
u must give lecture no. to ur lectures .
There is the mistake in time reversal part . Reversed signal should be from -2 to 3
Yes
Good notice 👍
Can some one tell me which book we refer for signal and systems

Why minus sign for positive shift and Plus sign for negative shift mam?
Super..🤟🤟
Great Explanation
there is some mistake at last part. reversal of the signal must be from -2 to 3 , not -3 to 2.
You right.
nice ma'm...
I feel at 11:52, signal is from ( t= -2) to (t= +3)

Excellent
thanks a lot

Thank you Ma'am!
What is the use of this shifting and scaling
please tell ,,multiple operations on continuous time signal simultaneously
Why 'minus' for right shift and 'plus' for left shift ? Should it not be the reverse ?
When it is (t-2) you consider it as t-2=0. So you get t=2 which is positive. That's why you have a right shift. When it is (t+2) the value of t=-2. That's why left shift
S at reversal it is -2 and +3 u just forgotten mam
thank you ma
In time reversal, it should be -2 to 3
Nice lecture.
One doubt mam please see time reversal example . Is it correct?
Is it possible to shift a signal by 0.5 units either to left or right like eg x(n+0.5)

How phase is changed by time shifting
Mam why are we dividing by a in time scaling.?
Time shifting what madam
Thank you so much madam
Why do we divide t by a in time scaling? Why t/a is done?
I have a question mam..plz answer
Question - if a function f(t) u(t) is shifted to right side by t0 then function will be expressed as
(a) f(t) u(t-t0)
(b) f(t-t0) u(t-t0)
Option (a) bro
f(t) u(t-t0)=f(t0)
How bro?

Time reversal operation for -3 to 2 look at once again
Madam sir madam anthe
Time scale , when a>0
Y(t) = x (at) .... a is multiple by t... Why you chose t/a ???
okay, shortcut method of computation - because it's compressed, not expanded
Mam, can u explain by taking other examples
You didn't tell how to determine a in time scaling
2:27
Yamani
Time scaling also does not work to delta signal
If you still need this information after 4 years. It works, let's say delta=d, time scaling=k. Hereby, d(kt) is equivalent to 1/|k| * d(t)
time reversal with limits -2 and 3, you put a wrong answer
I dont know why most of the things are reverse in signal and systems😢
