Crying Laughing Loving Lying -- Labi Siffre -- Acoustic cover

An amazing, beautiful song by the under-appreciated genius, Labi Siffre. Check out his originals for the great vocals and fingerpicking technique, both of which elude me. I also recommend Guster's great cover, which finally pushed me to try this.

👍Lovely cover of a very beautiful song! I really don't know his stuff at all, apart from his hit 'It must Be Love', and then of course the Madness recording of it. Will certainly check out more 👍

Thank you Ellie! I fully agree, the song is very beautiful. As indeed is "It Must Be Love." I also wanted to do a version of that a while ago, and vacillated between trying the fine Madness ska version or Siffre's original...; in the end I went for the latter.

There's at least one more of his great songs that I definitely plan to attempt before too long.
