Minutemen really sticks their neck out as a genre then Black Flag was selling all that with theirs Stewart Poindexter, Bad Brains Husker du or something then it was Screwradio, Hardcoreradio that was all live on the net kind of went in one ear and out the other🤣🎸🗿👂 🎧👂
I have this record. Bought at John Lever Records on Gold Street in Northampton, UK, a cool little record store that managed to get some random stuff in. It was the same store that introduced the Minutemen to me, via the song 'Search' on 'Rodney on the ROQ, Vol.2'. I bought the Meat Puppets first ep on World Imitation and then their 1st LP in that same store too. Still have all of these vinyls. Oh yeah, and I got to see the Minutemen, at the 100 Club with Black Flag and Nigheist, Feb 83. Not many people in the UK got to see them, I would imagine.

My introduction to The Minutemen, 1983 (?), record store was Rock Contact, Grenoble France. Heard the first seconds to Split Red and was hooked.
