I'm 70 and every year during one of my exams my doctor gives me 5 words to remember, very random words. Toward the end of the exam he asks me what those 5 words were, this may be only 15-20 minutes later. I can say so far I was able to give back the words, whew. Not sure Joe could do the same.

My doctor’s grandparents told me that at a certain age, insurance demands a cognitive screening for elders which they gladly agreed to. If there are frailties with their brain function, they are entitled to services of all kinds and specialist evaluations for simple things like walking, swallowing, bathing themselves, administering medications and even cleaning their own house. These should be welcomed services and not to be feared. There is only one reason Biden and his family won’t demand these cognitive tests. And we all know that reason.
That swallowing paralysis is no joke, my Mother developed that and it was the beginning of the end for her.
