Brinley-Hardy is what I've heard. The Spyker is a huge upgrade to my Lesco Chariot. I like the ride-on aspect, just not a big fan of the Lesco hopper. I started using a Spyker 28 years ago, but needed a ride-on and Spyker had none. The dial setter on the front couldn't be mounted without extra cost and complication on the "dash". I'm looking hard at getting one of these!
We have one and the handle is so hard to squeeze that no woman could possibly ever do it. Strong handed men would still struggle having to do more than 5 yards. Do you have this problem? Or any suggestions for adjustment?
If you aren't a commercial applicator or don't have acres of grass to treat, you're right. Spyker makes great walk behind units as well. for small lawns.
It handles hills well. You can check out this video to get an idea of how it does with hills: ua-cam.com/video/o-vqqX_Houc/v-deo.htmlsi=hBdArwosUFr-_A9u
@@tony8354586 Never heard of it, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll look it up, thanks! I know and love Spyker, plus it is the Mulch - N - More hopper so it can topdress lawns. I already have a sprayer set-up, the drop-in offered now by Spyker. I'm looking for just a spreader right now.
The hopper control dial on the Spyker push spreaders, as I'm sure you know, are on the front or back of the hopper and not on the handle. I would think that would be the only options because of the accuracy of the linkage if the controls were on the handle. Also, what is the model number of the motorized spreader so I can learn more?
That thing is rad. The prill size on that fert is enormous! lol. But if it works it works! endlessly jealous of how huge that back yard is.
Not a problem since it has an opening vs. holes. No "special" agitator upgrade needed to keep the fert/seed flowing freely!!
I can’t help but see a lesco chariot with a spyker hopper lol they even have the same engine.
Any idea who makes these for spyker?

Yes, Brinkley-Hardy is the parent company of Spyker.
First Aussie 😁. Jimmy, definitely a tool to make that job a little easier. 🤠

Great video, Jimmy, and great information on the ride-on spreader! We're so happy to see you're enjoying it 😎
Any idea how it does with hills?, I have a lot of hills in my area

How much?
The price is stupid!
For a commercial applicator it's worth it.
@@tobylou8 if your going down that road then get a TURFWARE! Better made all around….
