- In today's episode anchor Ritangshu Bhattacharya discusses corporate work pressure which claiming lives of the employees. Recently, A 42-year-old worker at Bajaj Finance died by suicide on Sunday, citing unbearable work pressure and mental torture by his seniors. He locked his wife and two children in a room before taking the drastic step. This discussion has been joined by some distinguished panelists. Psychiatrist, Dr Deepak Raheja says that Comparing one's life with others also adds to stress.

Yes that's why I tell youngsters to not get married or have kids in this third class country, because your kids also will be treated like cheap labour and they don't have a future. Just earn money and enjoy your life

I am happy to hear stories from ppl who left corporate mid way , saved enough in the time they worked in corporate, then went and settled in mountains or some remote location living a simple life in conjunction with nature .
I too have a similar issue with corporate , left it midway , and still managing today via some alternate income sources .

Stringent labour laws needed in India. Corporate running after profit at cost of employee work pressure targets has to stop.
It's manager who is doing abuse of power. Just like santhosh s k of Mysore Wipro who is in position due to boot licking not by hardwork. These kind of boot locker become manager who enjoys harassing his reportee.
He could have worked as Cab driver and have better life than working in such toxic company. At least should have thought about Family. Sometimes family also puts pressure of having reputed job. That is bad.

I have sold Bajaj Finance shares the moment i heard this news. I dont want to get profited by making someone so much miserable and destroying his family.

In this level if company is targetting profits tomorrow if we need workers to do business there will be no employee to continue the business. That time where will the employer go for running the business if he need workers....this is just a personal opinion....
Guys pls dont marry sooner. Once married, dont dream of big houses and car and buy them on loan to keep up society expectations. Rather when starting the employment first save/invest enough money to manage the expenses enough for atleast 2 years, live in afforadable rental homes and mainly dont buy unncessary items rather always be ready to vacate with few boxes. Live this way of life and also a side-hustle on weekends to not get of fear of quitting the job.
Very sad that human life is lost for nothing. This person could have resigned ( I will not know his situation ) than sacrificing his life. Family is equally important, before taking such calls.
