As an Exosister player this Purrely support frustrates me so much. Purrely gets everything it needs, strong spells, strong boss monsters, a boss monster you literally can't touch if it has 5 materials and can spin cards to the bottom of the deck all while becoming a huge beatstick. It also didn't get touched at all by the banlist AND every other deck that was good got hit like crazy. Purrely have very little restrictions but Exosisters can't even glance at any form of Rank 4 toolbox or engines because Martha is so important as a starter. Doesn't help that Martha only summons Elis, the only extender the deck has, instead of literally any Exosister. The Xyz just aren't as strong as they should be with how archetype restricted Exosister are. Only Mikailis and Magnifica are actually good since they have a quick effect. And even then Mikailis and Gibrine only get their quick effect on the turn they are Xyz summoned. Asophiel's bounce effect isn't a quick effect for some godforsaken reason and Kaspitell is used more for searching Martha than blocking the graveyard special summons. We also have to keep in mind that Exosister debuted with PUNK and Adventure engine, two archetypes with negligible restrictions if any AND Martha was released alongside Tearlaments and Spright, two other archetypes whose restrictions don't matter due to how you play them. It's just so annoying how Konami deliberately makes some decks good until they have to ban or restrict some the cards or just barely decent enough to still lose to the better decks.
Dont mind me, Im patiently waiting for Rescue Ace to be decent since they came from the same set, and they are fire warriors (a few of them) since the battling boxer/infernoble support aids that a bit.
Hey don't worry. We'll get the announcement some time today. We "might" get a single card that'll boost a R-Ace ATK/DEF by 100, and it'll give it destruction protection until the end of the turn, while also only being playable once per 'Match'.
