Man it still blows my mind that Ethan died in the beginning of RE7 and was an infected fungus the whole time. His determination for saving Mia was THAT strong.
Not how early, but how short her story is in the game. She had such great potencial that was not fully explored. One of the only few flaws of the game. :(

One of the BEST features about this one was how distinct and odd each of the levels and bosses were...A bunch of sex starved vampires in a castle to gothic T800s and killer machines in a factory...oh and lets not forget the Murder Doll level.

The story behind RE: Village, 4 lords, Duke and Miranda: Back in 1900s, Miranda was doing experiments with her student. They had a really good and strong relationship together. And they both were so determined with science. Many years ago, Miranda's little daughter, Eva, died. And all she was trying to do with science was for saving her loving daughter. But for that, she needed a really strong and matching vessel. She had particules of her past daughter in order to bring her alive. That's the part where Miranda and her student broke up and went from different ways. The student (wrote in a mail in the game), said ''You were doing all that for just one person. But I was doing it to change the world''. But they still respected each other. And the epic thing was, at the end of the mail, her student said ''I'm now making a company so me and some colleagues can improve our projects. I guess the name of the company will be Umbrella Corporation. The umbrella symbols around the village inspired me to put this name''. Yep. Oswell E. Spencer, the founder of Umbrella corp, who have caused everything back in previous Resident Evil games. The person who spread the zombie virus to whole the world. Was the student of Miranda. Back in 1900s Miranda had her powers with the cause of Megamycete. She has many powers such as flying, disguising as other characters, strength and durability, controlling the mold, the megamycete etc. And she had been capturing villagers and was making experiments on them with the matter called Cadeau. In order to create the perfect vessel to resurrect her dead daughter. She tried, she tried, she tried... Many of her experiments with people turned them into Lycans (those zombie/werevolves in the village). But she had 5 succesful experiments. First one was the Duke. He is actually a mysterious one. True powers are unknown. Only known one is teleportation. The other 4 doesn't have a specific order. Starting off with Donna Beneviento. Family of Beneviento was known widely by everyone in the village in the past. The members of the family were very wealthy. Donna was the young girl of the family. But someday Miranda took her away from her family and her family died somehow. And experiment with Donna was succesful, but not perfectly. She gained powers. One of her powers is that little precious pollens she has around her and her place. People's minds who get interacted with these glowy particles of pollens are under control of Donna. Another pwoer of hers is that she can control her dolls. But she is shy, afraid to show her real face, that's why she uses her white doll Angie. And her brain doesn't function so well like a regular human. Another experiment, Salvatore Moreau. He is actually a waste. But Miranda decided to keep him as a lord since he has some unique specialities. (Moreau is that ugly looking freak with a lot of saliva coming out of his mouth). He can use this green toxic saliva, and he can turn into a giant fish-monster which is not under his control. Brain funtions are dead. He is just a moronic freak who is scared of everything. Now coming to the Alcina Dimitrescu. Used to be the loving daughter of family Dimitrescu. Were kidnapped, and used on experiments. She turned into a very tall huge-sized vampire. And she was such an excellent one for Miranda. She was so close to be the perfect vessel to resurrect Eva, but she wasn't fully. Her powers are that she can control the way she looks (that's why she looks beautiful), turn her fingernails into giant sharp claws, superhuman strength and durability. And her brain functioned very well, but kinda strange. Making her more savage and wild. But she had some few downsides. One is her true form. There is a specific knife that will reveal her true giant dragon form. She hides that knife inside a coffin in the cathedral. Another down side is she is depriving blood. She needs other sources to gain blood from. And the GOAT, Karl Heisenberg. Miranda came and killed Heisenberg's family and kidnapped him. But during the experiments, Heisenberg was the one to suffer the most. But he was the perfect one with no negative sides. He was literally the one. His powers are superhuman strength and durability, and he can control the electricity meaning he can control every metal type around him. And his brain functions were excellent. He used to be a smart kid back then before the experiments, and he is still. Everything was perfect about him. And that made him Miranda's favourite. And led Miranda to see him as her son. But yet, he still wasn't also a match for Eva. But his brain functioning completely normal means that he is still a regular person. Just like Ethan. And so that he remembers what Miranda has done to his family and to himself. So he hates Miranda and was working on plans to get his revenge by killing her. Miranda gave all these lords a place. She gave Dimitrescu the giant castle of the village (the best location), she gave Heisenberg the factory on the outskirts because of his power, gave Beneviento her own house (Basically she didn't gave her any place since Beneviento only lives in her house), And gave Moreau a reservoir because he is literally a type of fish. Miranda wanted all these four lords to make experiments on people just like she used to do. Moreau and Beneviento did experiments, but didn't get something so important. Moreau only got few mutated giant wolf Lycans which we fight at his place. Heisenberg got a powerful one. which he calls ''Sturm''. We have some chase scenes with it and have a boss fight in the factory. But Lady Dimitrescu got the best ones. Her 3 daughters: Bella, Cassandra and Daniela. Miranda thought they were just waste and wanted Alcina to kill them, But Alcina insisted because she loved them. So she made them her daughters. They also deprive blood like their mother, making them vampires. Their powers are that they can't be damaged and can turn into horde of flies making them move so fast. Their weakness is the atmosphere. If they get interacted with the air outside, they turn to being vulnerable. After a while, Miranda notices Rose. Ethan's daughter. Rose contained Eveline's (RE7 main villain) powers. And Rose was the true, the right, the original vessel for Eva. So she secretly kidnapped Mia from our house and disguised as Mia in the house at the beginning of RE Village. Because she wanted to capture Rose away and use her to create Eva. That's where Ethan's story of RE8 begins.
@@xluvs Because 3 years ago before RE8, during the events of RE7, Both Mia and Ethan were exposed to Mold E Series. Which also contained Eveline's powers. After they made Rose, that concluded in Rose being born with Eveline's true powers. Such power was the exact thing that Miranda was looking for. During RE8 Chris gameplay, Chris and his team were chatting about it. One of them was joking about it saying "maybe moldie little birds have told her". Meaning it is not clearly known how Miranda learnt about the presence of Rose.
I really, really cried at the end. Such a sad ending to such a good character. Poor Ethan, he didn't even deserve any of it ;-; Also, while everyone was simping for vampire mommy, why did no one mention how pretty Miranda was? Obviously, she got ugly after transforming (lol) but dang.
I absolutely love the friendly conversation with Heisenberg but the game should give chance to the player that you can work with the villan or not that would be absolutely 🔥 fire
Heisenberg could've convinced Ethan to form an alliance but his poor choice of words ("We go save Rose, & then we can USE her to grind Miranda into paste") was where he failed.

It makes sense, since mine cut off his hand he was doomed to die. If we are realistic, Ethan would bleed to death and even if he left the attic he would die before he got to a safe place. And unlike the others... only the wounds and damage that the protagonists receive in the cinematics is canonical. And now look at the difference between the injuries suffered by the other protagonists and look at Ethan. There's a lot of difference, poor Ethan
@Nahomi Sanchez I did some digging about it and I found out that he is kinda a zombie but he doesn't know it 🤷♂️so that is why he can survive all of this BS and even for the upcoming resident evil his daughter is some sort of super psychic zombie so you can say that this game is getting out of the track "again "🤷♂️🤣

Gotta say i love all of RE’s bosses they range from manga/comic monsters, mythology, technology and uncanny/uncontrollable science! But i loved Biohazard and Village most as its a break from the various viruses they’ve used before
I really wanna know if there was a single person in the world who didn't know Resident Evil 7 had multiple endings, And got the bad ending, Saw Re8 coming out and got so confused on how Mia came back 😂😂

I think the Angie fight pisses me off the most, because for the speed fight achievement, you have to PERFECTLY find Angie all three times, and her locations randomize. Why is it such a tight window? Because of the near minute of unskippable cutscenes of stabbing her in the face, which are counted for the time.
If Miranda and the four lords use Pokemon, I think they'll use these Pokemon Dimitrescu (Mostly use Dragon types reference to her dragon like mutated form): Dragalge, Garchomp, Salamence/Salazzle, Hydreigon, Dragapult/Ninjask (based on Dimitrescu and her three daughters sends out swarms of flies and there's no fly pokemon so I had to) and Noivern (based on at the book called Village of Shadows, the huge bat references to Dimitrescu) Donna (using Ghost type Pokemon based on how she uses creepy illusions): Polteageist, Cursola/ Gourgeist, Mimikyu, Froslass, Mismagius and Banette Moreau (Using Water and Poison types based on how he hurls out acid and create walls made of slime): Muk/Seismitoad (the bumps on its body reference to the multiple eyes on Moreau's mutated form also how Moreau's mutated form sometimes bloats out his stomach like a balloon), Qwilfish, Weezing/Gyarados (evolved from the fish Pokemon, Magikarp), Swalot, Garbodor, and Toxapex/Tentacruel (based on how tentacles are coming out of his body) Heisenberg (using Steel types obviously): Steelix, Copperajah, Klinklang, Magnezone (the ability Magnet Pull based on his true power Magnetism), Aggron/Bisharp/Escavalier (the needles Escavalier uses reference to the drills on the Soldat's arms) and Metagross (it's Mega evolved form reference to his mutated form using the buzzsaws equipped arms) Miranda(Mostly dark types): Honchkrow (reference to that she can send out crows or turn into crows), Mightyena/Houndoom (reference to how Lycans are Bioweapons that has wolf blood)/ Zoroark ( it's ability Illusion is based on how Miranda can change her appearance into Mia Winters, an old lady and some crows), Drapion/Ariados/Trevenant (reference to her spider form), Grimmsnarl (reference to how she sends out black mold that look like tree roots, same goes with Trevenant), Sableye/Weavile (references to Miranda's mutated form uses her claw like arms) and Tyranitar (uses Stone edge based on the root like mold coming out from the ground, fire blast based on how she can send out clumps of black mold that can turn into lava (same goes with Trevenant's Will O Wisp), Shadow claw(which is the same reason for Sableye/Weavile), and for the signature move that Tyranitar uses is whether Crunch or Dark Pulse)

I remember Heisenberg's epic phrase, it's not even epic, but a legendary quote for memes: "GO SIT UP! Miss giant b*tch, dumb doll and water moron!" Crap! the feeling that in English this phrase rhymes, plus in the English version he does not call the doll scary, he calls her stupid, thus in the Russian voice acting there is an exception without insult, and in the English one, as always, they epicly charge with obscenities!
The creepiest part to me about the last fight with Donna was that, since it was all a hallucination, Ethan was chasing Donna around her house trying to kill her, and he wasn't even doing it with scissors. His hands are empty when he comes out of the hallucination, which means he killed her with his bare hands.
You are right, there are many things about him that have not yet been told to us. Who is Ethan? , what was he before the bakers? , what did the bssa really plan to do with it? What happened to him between re7 and re8? I'm sure the bssa knew of Ethan's condition but why didn't they tell him anything? Were they studying it or were they experimenting with it without him realizing it? Why were they sent to live in Romania? . Ethan just wanted a normal life and a family
I have a theory of what his story might be like and why he loves his family so much. Ethan had depression since he lost mia. At first his personality seems to be cold. With few emotions and depressed. As if he always felt alone, as if he had no family or someone to accompany him, and that his life no longer had meaning. When she received my message from outside Louisiana, she felt that her life again had a purpose and was: ignored any warnings or possible disappointments. But I find something I didn't expect. Why didn't Ethan flee alone? What for? He would be alone again, Ethan had a chance to regain something he loved and had nothing to lose and he got it. In re8 he has a new reason to live. A daughter. And I finally wanted to be happy and at peace. But fate would take it away again. Now he has a stronger and more defensive attitude. He was not going to allow himself to be stripped of what he most loved again and the reason he continues to live. So he's willing to do things that no one else would do. Sorry for the book I did it's night and already this average sleepy xd
Gonna be honest, I never saw much further than Lady D.'s fight; I got as far as Donna Beneviento's house and shut the game off with a certified "Nope" when I got to that... well, you know what I'm talking about.

Ethan by far is my favorite RE Character. I was definitely sad when he died, but he went out as a loving father and husband.

The story behind RE: Village, 4 lords, Duke and Miranda: Back in 1900s, Miranda was doing experiments with her student. They had a really good and strong relationship together. And they both were so determined with science. Many years ago, Miranda's little daughter, Eva, died. And all she was trying to do with science was for saving her loving daughter. But for that, she needed a really strong and matching vessel. She had particules of her past daughter in order to bring her alive. That's the part where Miranda and her student broke up and went from different ways. The student (wrote in a mail in the game), said ''You were doing all that for just one person. But I was doing it to change the world''. But they still respected each other. And the epic thing was, at the end of the mail, her student said ''I'm now making a company so me and some colleagues can improve our projects. I guess the name of the company will be Umbrella Corporation. The umbrella symbols around the village inspired me to put this name''. Yep. Oswell E. Spencer, the founder of Umbrella corp, who have caused everything back in previous Resident Evil games. The person who spread the zombie virus to whole the world. Was the student of Miranda. Back in 1900s Miranda had her powers with the cause of Megamycete. She has many powers such as flying, disguising as other characters, strength and durability, controlling the mold, the megamycete etc. And she had been capturing villagers and was making experiments on them with the matter called Cadeau. In order to create the perfect vessel to resurrect her dead daughter. She tried, she tried, she tried... Many of her experiments with people turned them into Lycans (those zombie/werevolves in the village). But she had 5 succesful experiments. First one was the Duke. He is actually a mysterious one. True powers are unknown. Only known one is teleportation. The other 4 doesn't have a specific order. Starting off with Donna Beneviento. Family of Beneviento was known widely by everyone in the village in the past. The members of the family were very wealthy. Donna was the young girl of the family. But someday Miranda took her away from her family and her family died somehow. And experiment with Donna was succesful, but not perfectly. She gained powers. One of her powers is that little precious pollens she has around her and her place. People's minds who get interacted with these glowy particles of pollens are under control of Donna. Another pwoer of hers is that she can control her dolls. But she is shy, afraid to show her real face, that's why she uses her white doll Angie. And her brain doesn't function so well like a regular human. Another experiment, Salvatore Moreau. He is actually a waste. But Miranda decided to keep him as a lord since he has some unique specialities. (Moreau is that ugly looking freak with a lot of saliva coming out of his mouth). He can use this green toxic saliva, and he can turn into a giant fish-monster which is not under his control. Brain funtions are dead. He is just a moronic freak who is scared of everything. Now coming to the Alcina Dimitrescu. Used to be the loving daughter of family Dimitrescu. Were kidnapped, and used on experiments. She turned into a very tall huge-sized vampire. And she was such an excellent one for Miranda. She was so close to be the perfect vessel to resurrect Eva, but she wasn't fully. Her powers are that she can control the way she looks (that's why she looks beautiful), turn her fingernails into giant sharp claws, superhuman strength and durability. And her brain functioned very well, but kinda strange. Making her more savage and wild. But she had some few downsides. One is her true form. There is a specific knife that will reveal her true giant dragon form. She hides that knife inside a coffin in the cathedral. Another down side is she is depriving blood. She needs other sources to gain blood from. And the GOAT, Karl Heisenberg. Miranda came and killed Heisenberg's family and kidnapped him. But during the experiments, Heisenberg was the one to suffer the most. But he was the perfect one with no negative sides. He was literally the one. His powers are superhuman strength and durability, and he can control the electricity meaning he can control every metal type around him. And his brain functions were excellent. He used to be a smart kid back then before the experiments, and he is still. Everything was perfect about him. And that made him Miranda's favourite. And led Miranda to see him as her son. But yet, he still wasn't also a match for Eva. But his brain functioning completely normal means that he is still a regular person. Just like Ethan. And so that he remembers what Miranda has done to his family and to himself. So he hates Miranda and was working on plans to get his revenge by killing her. Miranda gave all these lords a place. She gave Dimitrescu the giant castle of the village (the best location), she gave Heisenberg the factory on the outskirts because of his power, gave Beneviento her own house (Basically she didn't gave her any place since Beneviento only lives in her house), And gave Moreau a reservoir because he is literally a type of fish. Miranda wanted all these four lords to make experiments on people just like she used to do. Moreau and Beneviento did experiments, but didn't get something so important. Moreau only got few mutated giant wolf Lycans which we fight at his place. Heisenberg got a powerful one. which he calls ''Sturm''. We have some chase scenes with it and have a boss fight in the factory. But Lady Dimitrescu got the best ones. Her 3 daughters: Bella, Cassandra and Daniela. Miranda thought they were just waste and wanted Alcina to kill them, But Alcina insisted because she loved them. So she made them her daughters. They also deprive blood like their mother, making them vampires. Their powers are that they can't be damaged and can turn into horde of flies making them move so fast. Their weakness is the atmosphere. If they get interacted with the air outside, they turn to being vulnerable. After a while, Miranda notices Rose. Ethan's daughter. Rose contained Eveline's (RE7 main villain) powers. And Rose was the true, the right, the original vessel for Eva. So she secretly kidnapped Mia from our house and disguised as Mia in the house at the beginning of RE Village. Because she wanted to capture Rose away and use her to create Eva. That's where Ethan's story of RE8 begins.

@@xluvs Because 3 years ago before RE8, during the events of RE7, Both Mia and Ethan were exposed to Mold E Series. Which also contained Eveline's powers. After they made Rose, that concluded in Rose being born with Eveline's true powers. Such power was the exact thing that Miranda was looking for. During RE8 Chris gameplay, Chris and his team were chatting about it. One of them was joking about it saying "maybe moldie little birds have told her". Meaning it is not clearly known how Miranda learnt about the presence of Rose.

I think the Angie fight pisses me off the most, because for the speed fight achievement, you have to PERFECTLY find Angie all three times, and her locations randomize. Why is it such a tight window? Because of the near minute of unskippable cutscenes of stabbing her in the face, which are counted for the time.

The creepiest part to me about the last fight with Donna was that, since it was all a hallucination, Ethan was chasing Donna around her house trying to kill her, and he wasn't even doing it with scissors. His hands are empty when he comes out of the hallucination, which means he killed her with his bare hands.

You are right, there are many things about him that have not yet been told to us. Who is Ethan? , what was he before the bakers? , what did the bssa really plan to do with it? What happened to him between re7 and re8? I'm sure the bssa knew of Ethan's condition but why didn't they tell him anything? Were they studying it or were they experimenting with it without him realizing it? Why were they sent to live in Romania? . Ethan just wanted a normal life and a family
I have a theory of what his story might be like and why he loves his family so much. Ethan had depression since he lost mia. At first his personality seems to be cold. With few emotions and depressed. As if he always felt alone, as if he had no family or someone to accompany him, and that his life no longer had meaning. When she received my message from outside Louisiana, she felt that her life again had a purpose and was: ignored any warnings or possible disappointments. But I find something I didn't expect. Why didn't Ethan flee alone? What for? He would be alone again, Ethan had a chance to regain something he loved and had nothing to lose and he got it.
In re8 he has a new reason to live. A daughter. And I finally wanted to be happy and at peace. But fate would take it away again. Now he has a stronger and more defensive attitude. He was not going to allow himself to be stripped of what he most loved again and the reason he continues to live. So he's willing to do things that no one else would do.
