I had the pleasure of going out with him in a Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Roadster many years ago. We drove on a British dual carriageway @ 220 mph. Scared the shit outta me, but he was a consummate professional and handled it as one would expect, and it was a VERY exhilarating ride. He is THE nicest guy I probably ever met and he has every bit of my respect for his career and all he has done.
@@alastair77 that’s amazing. Back in 2010 I was at the factory with my wife and Mr Balboni took us out one at a time in Balboni edition Gallardo! It was incredible to go down the Balboni expressway as they call it, a single lane road while overtaking trucks and facing oncoming traffic! He sped up to about 250-260kmh and that was more than enough to scare me silly!!
@@NikilRaja then you DO appreciate my terminology.. lol! alas, I as yet, never got over to Sant 'Agata, nor saw the Balboni Highway you speak of though I have seen MASSES of footage of him testing alsorts of Lambo's along the stretch you refer to. We had lunch together in the factory cafeteria, enjoyed an espresso etc. Even got to shake hands with the CEO at the time Stephan Winkelman. A magical day to say the least!
