I did my first half marathon block back in October. I just started running back in March after basically a sedentary lifestyle for the last 10 years. I was able to build my weekly mileage to 50-66 the last two months of the block. For me that was the sweet spot given my fitness and experience level. I ended up crushing my goal of 01:40 by running a 01:37:27. Nothing crazy but I was proud of the work I put in. Now I'm on week 6 of a 24 week full marathon block. Mileage has been in the 30s but next week I bump up to the 50s again. I'm hoping to build up to 75-85 mpw for at least a month going into it. It will be interesting to see how my body handles it. A lot of respect for the guys that can hold 80-100 miles consistently, that's eventually my goal
Hi Seth, love seeing you posting more and getting back to training for a race! What is the nose cover you are wearing at the start of the video? It's exactly what I need for those subzero workouts.
Seth can you link the vlog you mentioned from 4 years ago talking about volume just getting off the couch? I’m coming back from a year off and a recent ankle sprain! I want to be smart about dipping my toes back in

The training videos on your channel are very helpful, Seth. Thanks.
QOD: high school XC senior year; 70 mile weeks over summer, 50-ish with more speed in season… best race of my life @ state 15’17” in Cali

Training for a spring marathon or half isn’t always ideal but it makes for a tough & gritty runner 💪🏻
We have the same exact hairstyle , I must be ready to start running finally😅
I wish there were Seth followers who needed a running partner that are living in Napa California
110miles 😮 that's good enough for 26.2
First time I'm seeing such a nose warmer.
14th!
brrrrrrr
