    Nice idea for a video. Must say I’m impressed by that support guys knowledge. Sounded more like you called another well trained tech for advise and not someone reading from a menu.

    The latest ATG book on gdi and induction systems 2017 taught me that trick. Right when u pulled the cap off I was saying get the monometer. In the book it also says a vacuum gauge will not work just like the gentlemen said and only the monometer will get pinpoint accuracy. Great work Keith and big ups to autologic tech support. Very impressed. Highly recommend anyone wanting to learn new tricks and how to test the systems to get that book. Nothing better than increasing ur knowledge. Money well spent. Take care and god bless

    That is absolutely spectacular, and better than any sales pitch could ever be. I was debating a Verus. That debate is over. Autologic it is!

    This was an excellent video Keith! The auto logic tech support was outstoutstanding! Very nice to know you can throw a life line, phone a friend and get that valuable resource along with the tool. I have to say that it appears you have every tool to deal with every situation you are faced with. And the knowledge to use those tools. And it definitely is helpful to me. I learn something from every one of your uploads. I thank you for teaching me! Thumbs up!

    It’s great how the PCV failure on these pressurizes the crankcase, and blows out the rear main. Then you have 2 vacuum leaks, one that needs removing the transmission to fix. Crappy design. We’ve put 3 intake manifolds, and a rear main on our room mate’s 09 Tiguan.
    The autologic support dude sounded super knowledgeable. Great resource!

    The choo choo noise Keith ,some Volvo''s have that same noise and it's caused by the engine mounts.
    They are vacuum controlled.They go faulty and make that same noise.

    Have seen those Dorman caps leak right where they seal. So you won’t see it as an increased ccv reading. Also beware. The newer engines run somewhere between 70-90 millibar! Will seem it’s a bad ccv but it’s a normal spec. So be careful...always check the spec for that year model.

    Don’t think Chris seemed too pleased when you compared Autologic to being like a Strap-on machine Keith 😂
    Did You know that Autologic used to be the makers of Rovacom for Land Rover then the two guys split and one makes the terrible Blackbox Solutions stuff and the other guy is what is now Autologic previously Autodiagnose?! If that’s spelt right. There was some pretty public slagging matches between them on the Land Rover forums about 15 years ago 😂
    I think you have to be a master tech to be an Autologic support guy 😳

    I know Tom wolfe(positive lead diagnostics)put a video showing the exact same situation where you get a fuel pressure code from a vacuum leak. You think a fluke pv350 would capture those inches of water readings, Keith?

    • @NewLevelAuto
      @NewLevelAuto  6 років тому +1

      No sir, unless you had a transducer capable of reading that low. Although 🤯 gave me an idea

    • @SuperMarioDiagnostics
      @SuperMarioDiagnostics 6 років тому

      New Level Auto I'm not sure there are any easily accessible piezoelectric transducers. The only piezo anything automotive that comes to mind is knock sensors and parking assist sensors. But you've got my attention! Am i close?
