Nice idea for a video. Must say I’m impressed by that support guys knowledge. Sounded more like you called another well trained tech for advise and not someone reading from a menu.
The latest ATG book on gdi and induction systems 2017 taught me that trick. Right when u pulled the cap off I was saying get the monometer. In the book it also says a vacuum gauge will not work just like the gentlemen said and only the monometer will get pinpoint accuracy. Great work Keith and big ups to autologic tech support. Very impressed. Highly recommend anyone wanting to learn new tricks and how to test the systems to get that book. Nothing better than increasing ur knowledge. Money well spent. Take care and god bless
This was an excellent video Keith! The auto logic tech support was outstoutstanding! Very nice to know you can throw a life line, phone a friend and get that valuable resource along with the tool. I have to say that it appears you have every tool to deal with every situation you are faced with. And the knowledge to use those tools. And it definitely is helpful to me. I learn something from every one of your uploads. I thank you for teaching me! Thumbs up!
It’s great how the PCV failure on these pressurizes the crankcase, and blows out the rear main. Then you have 2 vacuum leaks, one that needs removing the transmission to fix. Crappy design. We’ve put 3 intake manifolds, and a rear main on our room mate’s 09 Tiguan. The autologic support dude sounded super knowledgeable. Great resource!
Nice Keith. The choo choo noise Keith ,some Volvo''s have that same noise and it's caused by the engine mounts. They are vacuum controlled. They go faulty and make that same noise. Just thought i would mention.
Have seen those Dorman caps leak right where they seal. So you won’t see it as an increased ccv reading. Also beware. The newer engines run somewhere between 70-90 millibar! Will seem it’s a bad ccv but it’s a normal spec. So be careful...always check the spec for that year model.
Don’t think Chris seemed too pleased when you compared Autologic to being like a Strap-on machine Keith 😂 Did You know that Autologic used to be the makers of Rovacom for Land Rover then the two guys split and one makes the terrible Blackbox Solutions stuff and the other guy is what is now Autologic previously Autodiagnose?! If that’s spelt right. There was some pretty public slagging matches between them on the Land Rover forums about 15 years ago 😂 I think you have to be a master tech to be an Autologic support guy 😳
I know Tom wolfe(positive lead diagnostics)put a video showing the exact same situation where you get a fuel pressure code from a vacuum leak. You think a fluke pv350 would capture those inches of water readings, Keith?
New Level Auto I'm not sure there are any easily accessible piezoelectric transducers. The only piezo anything automotive that comes to mind is knock sensors and parking assist sensors. But you've got my attention! Am i close?
Yes sir , however the gauges are so sensitive when non digital that it prohibits me from carrying them in the truck. Luckily I am never that far from my garage.
Thank you for the video, Auto logic it's $9,000 on eBay, is that acceptable? Checking your vent tube for your crankcase pressure did you just pinch it off and look at your readings? Thank you.
Watching all these voltswagen videos leads me to think that if something goes wrong no matter what the code can be 90% chance it probably is a clogged pcv breather.
I think the guy on the phone is Eric O. "DORMAN? There's your problem (lady)!"
Awesome diagnostics and Autologic support! You're on a roll with the vids Keith, thanks for the effort!!
"Oh, well there's your problem." LOL! Chris really seemed to know his stuff.

I have it and also recommend it.
That is absolutely spectacular, and better than any sales pitch could ever be. I was debating a Verus. That debate is over. Autologic it is!
WOW!!!! I'm sold. Thanks Keith, I didn't know about Autologic remote before this.

Okay, that was a surprise. It's good to know that there is support out there for the professionals.
Keith, that was an excellent video. When you can get factory service like that in this day and age it is impressive.
Don’t forget the classic vacuum leak from the rear crank seal
One of the first things I smoke tested for 😉
Terrific video Keith. Like I've said previously I watch them all just for your way of presenting the knowledge you have. Have a good one. 👍
WOW awesome support! 👍👍👍👍 Thanks for the video!
Awesome content Keith. Man you're on a roll with these videos lately.
some smart tech to help a smart tech :)

The autologic support dude sounded super knowledgeable. Great resource!
And don’t forget to mention the Chevy Cruze also
Nice tool Keith!
That was pretty cool Keith! Sounds like that guy from Autologic knows his stuff! 👍
Keith, good work and thank you for what you do by showing us all the info . cheeeeers
Busy again I see! Nice and thank you!
Thank you Keith and Chris. Good job. Was that Chris from TBT? Autologic has some good videos on YT. I appreciate your videos.
Great video! Id Love to see the tests you did to go along with it!
Audio was a little screwy but I loved it. Kinda sounded like Hal2000. Hopefully they'll be another up for raffle at TST in March.
Yeah wish I could've done that differently
Nice Keith.

Just thought i would mention.
Keith, great video and info!!
Wow! That's pretty cool! I've never seen automotive diagnostic remote controlling like that. I've done that on PCs...
Thanks for the insight!
OK I see where you went with it after finishing the video. Great to know that support this good does in fact exist out there.
I was PLEASANTLY surprised!

Pretty cool, kinda like teamviewer 😎 very neat tool Keith. Kinda funny your putting them to the test 😂
Can't stand behind something that isn't really all its cracked up to be. But this one clearly lives up to the hype
@@NewLevelAuto So auto ingenuity would drop the ball on this kind of support ah..lol
@@guayaco-dm3vu oh dear , where's the face palm emoji

No sir, unless you had a transducer capable of reading that low. Although 🤯 gave me an idea
New Level Auto hmm i don't know if a sensor that sensitive. Not even the wps 500?
Think piezo and pressure changes 🤓
New Level Auto I'm not sure there are any easily accessible piezoelectric transducers. The only piezo anything automotive that comes to mind is knock sensors and parking assist sensors. But you've got my attention! Am i close?
Super Mario Diagnostics What is a first look sensor😜
Awesome video! Would blocking off pcv and watching fuel trims be enough to condemn this style pcv system?
Seems like this is a very common problem on volkswagens. This vacuum problem.
Thanks for the video.
Was Keith talking to R2D2?
Impressive!
Nice demonstration , I made my own tool for testing crankcase vacuum h20 you can doit too my friend
Yes sir , however the gauges are so sensitive when non digital that it prohibits me from carrying them in the truck. Luckily I am never that far from my garage.

No sir. Cheaper from Autologic
@@NewLevelAuto thank you for your hard work, also your father Hood with your child is inspiring.
Crazy how a vacuum leak set a FRP sensor code.
Is today your "German car day" Keith?
CDAA ENGINE?2.0 T? ONE MILLION DOLLAR ANSWER....HAHAHAHA......LOVED IT....
Was? Live Kundendienst... geil!
Es ist großartig
@@NewLevelAuto =)
Sweet....great info
Keith how much did you pay for that new version of autologic ?
that is cool

Amazing Techie!
AutoLogic is a name I've not heard in awhile. Glad to hear such good things.
Is the service subscription based?

Yessir, but well worth the money if you're dealing with Euro vehicles . Has functions so nicely laid out , it makes things a breeze
Was that Chris Martino?
Turns out it was. But I didn't tell him it was me 🤫😂
Lol. might have gotten a dial tone
That voice... sounds familiar. Is this a trained by techs colab? Lol thanks for bringing us along.
No sir , but yes it ended up being Chris from TBT after all. However if you notice I didn't let him know it was me 😂😁
