AMAZING recovery Eric! Epic challenge with the hill, the sand, the extreme steering failure and the drop off. That's experienced rigging to use the boom line to keep the entire rig from going over the edge. Your efforts get an A+ for the day!
6:11 The woman says "It's a good thing I'm not driving, it would take us ALL DAY" The little girl responds "Umm...Yeah....hahaha" . lol, I Loved That & it was said with Love.
In 79 my first was born. Time had come to pare back on toys. I kept the choppers and the hot rod and let the stump jumper go. A couple of bike wrecks later I thought maybe I should have quit riding instead. But I didn't. Now all these years later I watch what you put yourself through. I'm better off skun up for chrome.
It never ceases to amaze me how many 4x4 owners don't know how to change gears in the xfer case or know how it works. (some are full time, some don't have what's called a "true neutral", etc.) Just had a conversation with a guy on youtube who didn't know how flat towing works. He didn't seem to know you could have a transmission in Park and an Xfer case in Neutral at the same time. (We, on some new trucks you can't).
Another great one. Eric, Which of all the 4x4s seem to break down less because of steering, suspension, drive axles, etc? Which make it through the sand and hills better. Lots of questions. Thanks
Three things that scare me are cables, high lift jacks with people under them and kids that can be hurt by both. Glad that turned out OK. Happy I wasn't there. I'll keep watching though.
recoveryteam how much exactly did you shorten the Wreckers bed? I have one and am looking to make welding truck out of her and I like the size of your bed
I have seen winches that had their own power, like a chainsaw motor that you can take out and find a deadman and winch from there, like pulling orange back up hill. use a strap like a tree protector through the tire rather than around the tire
Dude! This kind of crap is happening to you WAY to often you need to start doing a P.M. on that truck , That's way to good of a truck and YOUR way to good of a mechanic to be letting it go like that, Ya'know this ain't the first time we've had a failure out on the trails,. Now get off the couch turn off the TV. And get under the wrecker with the grease gun and flash light and do it. Working on the truck out in the woods sucks, it's not that bad in the garage so go do it. Love y'all, love the show, one day soon I'm going to take the Hummer up and do some riding with y'all be safe 😁
Nathan Hearld Jessica is the woman filming and narrating on these 2 videos. She definitely needs to have the job full time. 1000x better than SC in both personality and presentation. She is best at on camera non speaking roles.
Would not let you recover any truck of mine..... the guy putting body parts between the jack handle and Jack mast........ stuuuuuuuupid, could get killed typical bush league video, fun to watch tho LMFAO..........!!!!
This was my childhood in the 80's. These kids are getting a real meat and potatoes memory.

I enjoyed that episode.
Part 2 of "Murphy's Law", Murphy was an optimist.
Nice work Eric
when the only thing holding your wheel on is the brake line... BSF to the rescue :)

this guy surely own you a pizza after all that !
Nice job. Do you get gratuties for your help?
nice work again if been watching every UA-cam video you have made what state u in
Wisconsin
recoveryteam how much exactly did you shorten the Wreckers bed? I have one and am looking to make welding truck out of her and I like the size of your bed
I didn't shorten it at all, some newer wrecker beds are longer.
recoveryteam what do you charge$?
You guys need to get a new winch for the jeep. So you can do more recoveries.
I have seen winches that had their own power, like a chainsaw motor that you can take out and find a deadman and winch from there, like pulling orange back up hill. use a strap like a tree protector through the tire rather than around the tire

Eric; are you ever going to put H1 shoes onto your jeeps & lifts to fit them so they can have better traction in the sand????
the Toyota driver was excellent at that recovery, good for him? her?
There has been for rainy days then sunny days by me in Wisconsin now Im chasing my ass to get caught up before plowing season starts up again.
might be time to upgrade to the 64" model. ;)
how much does a recovery like this cost
No charge when I am at a event.
@@offroadrecoveryteam that's amazing 👍🏼
Np 203 transfer case is full time 4x4
That was a hard one
Awesome!
Do you charge to do this? Or how much would this cost if you were such a generous human?
No charge, I don't think a wrecker service would do this, for any amount.
How come seat cover is not behind the camera

Thought Murphy's law was if it's not broke don't fix it lol but it sure is broke
I have a question most of the vehicles that go 4 wheelen.and get stuck are the vehicles mostly totalled? And are any of them covered by insurance?
I'm not sure most insurance companies would touch those trail rigs with a 50 foot pole
What's the make of boom?
Thx
How mutch cost your service
Free.
Those tires are way to big on that chevy, need a lot heavier axles.
Looks like he is doing just fine without your input.
You need a couple ratchet straps to pull the axle up that's my opinion
You need a couple ratchet straps guys you could pull the axle up that's my opinion
Great video only sad part of it is when she calls the toyota ''road kill''
Why not just pull the wheel off? Cool stuff man
Nice!!!!
I still say Murphy was an optimist........
You could have left the orange truck connected and used the wench on the front of your wrecker to pull the Toyota out
long way from Springfield oregon lol
Murphy's Cousin O'Toole says "Murphy is an Optimist". Cole's Law is thinly sliced cabbage.......
Could have just pulled the wheel off
Now that would be to easy
That be a pain in the ass.I thought strap was good idea but hell im from bama..
Roll Tide
King Chevy
Is seat cover in a swim suit next to the wrecker...?.....I'm sorry Sir Eric...I had to...lol as a joke....
Hill called what? Lol
why not just yank it the rest of the way out. good job getting it out
Awesome
I can not understand why anyone would go play in the mud with out a winch on their machine.
Home boy just sticking his head into the wheel well...yikes
Why do people keep continuing to go off road with shit tires?
John Deere I wouldn't call boggers shit tires
JUST TAKE THE FUCKIN WHEEL OFF!
can you hook me up with the blonde? she seems like my dream girl
To bad the old wrecker isn't a Ford.
;)
Roll Tide🐘
A Ford couldn't handle it, it would try to Escape!
