  • The Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) provides resizable block-based storage volumes for Amazon C2 instances. If you work with EC2 you'll need to understand how to work with snapshots, Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and how to migrate instances between Availability Zones.
This is also core knowledge for many AWS certification exams including the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate certification. Watch this video to learn how to work with EBS volumes, snapshots, AMIs, and Amazon EC2 instances.
