I’m from Colombia and I’m 48 years old in my country when I was growing up ford was far and few. My father had a 1940 ford 2 door coupe. He always gravitated to ford and at my age I have followed his footsteps I’m a ford man .
I’ve owned every one of those fox bodies except the pace car. My svo was the same color combination, my Saleen is #13 93 royal blue with opal grey interior 7,500 miles, my 93 cobra which is red with black leather interior and my triwhite which I got from my mother in law 15 years ago with 3,000 miles. She bought the triwhite new with 330 miles back in 93. It’s the car Bill and Hillary (or Monica Lewinsky lol?) Clinton drove after his inauguration. They drove it from Pease Air Force base to George H Bush’s (the elder Bush) compound in Maine. I have the original paperwork Bill Clinton signed when he took the car for the week and I have the cigar still that was in the back seat lol. The car was signed and bought at Portsmouth Ford (which is next to Pease AFB).
This video series is a real treasure trove of Mustang lore. Brings back memories as well as some details that I’ve never heard. I read every Mustang & Ford publication (and a few that were leaning bow tie despite the evidence) back in the 80s thru the early 90s. We didn’t have access to all the information and history as it was compiled bit by bit from ledgers, company memos, advertisements, and old, now forgotten magazine articles, and even from those who had been there and actually done it at the time and knew how to row a 4-speed and make a car corner with just adjustments to the gas pedal. Anyway, I tend to think my favorite Fox Body year was 1992 as I bought a brand new LX hatch with 3.08s and a 5-speed that year. I came to that conclusion when they stopped including forged pistons with the 93s and advertised the horse power was twenty ponies down. Furthermore I was a little disappointed when the 93 Cobra was advertised to only be 235 horses despite the GT 40 effect. Anyway, I understood that in terms of suspension refinements the 1992 had everything Ford offered. In terms of power plant, the 1987-88-89s that may have been the true 225 horse were the pinnacle of 5.0 motor-vation. The World Class T-5 with the 2.95 first gear may have been the best driving transmission as I always thought the 3.35 in my 92 was a bit short (at least in my opinion). Honorable mention goes to the 1985 GT, the 83-84s had all the stuff an enthusiast needed to start with… and fond memories to that brand new red/red 1982 GT I test drove when I was 18 and got the salesman all kinds of pissed off with me…
He needs a few Capris :) I have similar experience at car shows with my 84 RS Turbo. Everyone wants to talk about their fox body Mustang or the few that had Capris. Great video.
a good example of wealth in USA, my god this is a serious collection, and Ive never seen this collection filmed before on you tube until now? great job Evan and Mark, thanks for showing us
If I was going to have a collection, it would be exactly like his collection. Long ago I test drove the Turbo 4 banger when it was new on the lot. I lusted after it. I could afford it but my mind was on other things at the time.
What stagers me is that he found that many nice cars out there ….!! I guess he has a skilled man in a shop going over them .. or 2 … ! Just spectacularly 👌
Technically that SVO is a 1985.5 model. Mid year they went with the flush headlights and dual tail pipes and some other stuff...the 1985.5 was basically the same as a 1986 SVO while the early production 1985 was the same as a 1984.
My friend had a yellow '93 convertible feature car that he(with help from his parents) bought new as his first car. I'm sure he wishes he still had it! ❤
Excellent collection! Only thing I’d do different is 1993 Cobra must be in Vibrant Red. It changed colors with light, it’s orange under fluorescent. Black is meh, nothing special. Fun fact, they rolled over the Vibrant red into 94-95 GT’s small run. I had one, mine was 1 of 227 in Vibrant Red and black cloth.
I have owned one Ford in my life a used 1967 Galaxy 500 390 I paid $900 for it at age 20, IN 1995. I was originally yellow, repainted resale red when I bought it, what the seller told my dad, and I was unaware of was the frame rails were rotted out. Otherwise a solid AC car. Sold it about a month later, as the power steering went out. The 1966 Chrysler 300 I bought instead was a much better car. I drove it daily.
@@revanevanI LOVE MUSTANGS AND I HAVE 7 MUSTANGS AND I HAVE 3 FOX BODYS MY 87 MUSTANG GT WITH T TOPS AND I HAVE A VIBRANT RED 93 COBRA AND I HAVE A BLK 93 COBRA BUT MY RED 93 COBRA ONLY HAS 22 THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILES AND ALL ORIGINAL.
@revan Evan and @George Conrad If you are looking to add a Canary Yellow 93 Feature to park next to that Triple White hit me up. I have a 2,900 mile (yes 2,900) mile Canary three pedal car that would look nice in there!
Probably already covered, but the 93 Cobra had a Cobra intake, not a GT 40 intake, but they already know this…a slip of the lip. Got a few other things wrong on the Fox bodies…carry on…
😂🎉😢😮😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 my bad it said two months ago I should’ve looked at it first you guys are doing awesome with the videos. Keep it up. Take care. Have a good weekend.
Hi Evan, I recently discovered your channel and George’s incredible car collection and am an instant fan! I’m a personal trainer and I have an older client of mine that asked me for some help selling his 1968 Shelby GT500KR convertible (428 Cobra Jet). It is Candy Apple Red w/ a white convertible top and located in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Are you able to reach out to George personally to see if he would like to add it to his immaculate collection, or anyone else that would be interested?
❤😂😢😮😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 he’s got some hell of a nice Mustang in there. Shit I wish I was there to look at them. Take pictures. Talk to him about Mustang and Ford. He’s a smart man. Take care. Have a good weekend.
❤😂😢😮😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 Evan. I hope you feel better. Take care love the videos and I miss my fox body. I beat the shit out of that thing and I sold it to someone and they sent me a ticket in the mail. I’m saying it’s not my car I sold it so they dismissed the case it was 1990. It was fast and I kick Ferrari’s ass on the freeway on 3:30 in the morning, getting off work working at jelly belly the candy company and the Ferrari couldn’t catch up. I was too fast for sure. my Mustang they’re hard to find now and pricey. Take care now. Finish the video.
Just can’t get enough of this collection.

Used to drive Fox body Mustangs. They were a blast to drive!

If I had a collection of Foxbodies all mine would be 87-93 notchbacks. I think the notchbacks are a notch above the rest.
An ‘86 SVO was my first mustang. I beat the crap out of it and loved every minute.

Fox's are still my favorite. I've owned my 91 SSP for over 25 years. I've also had a total of 7 of them.
I found one of those pace car jackets like the one hanging in back of the pace car in my father in law stuff after he passed
Nice collection and the thermo-couple business must be good
Must be really good!
Can't wait for part 5. The Legendary Mustangs.

Awesome! I hope and pray that you show the '71-'73 big body Mustangs.
Wow amazing collection! Love those Fox body Mustangs! Great better soon Evan!!!

I may be bias, but Part 5 is the best one.
It may be hard for some younger viewers to believe just how cheap a basic V8 Mustang LX was in the late 80s and early 90s.
My car payment on my '87 LX 5.0 was $178.55, three year loan.
They were just as quick as a GT low 14s quarter
@@chuckselvage3157they were a little quicker as they were a lighter car

The sound of a stock fox cannot be beat and sadly you loose as soon as the power mods begin
Answer, yes.
Very nice Fox bodies indeed... I prefer the looks of the '85 SVO, but the powertrain of the '93 Cobra. This guy owns 7 Ford GTs? Dear god...
Probably already covered, but the 93 Cobra had a Cobra intake, not a GT 40 intake, but they already know this…a slip of the lip. Got a few other things wrong on the Fox bodies…carry on…
Just curious how did they guy get his money? What a collection.
He owns a company
Where is the 1990 Limited Edition Coverable? AKA, the 7-UP Mustang. I have one.
How about the red, white and blue ford pinto/maverick? The pintos were known for their exploding gas tanks. My sister had one of those pintos.
89 lx notch was the 👌🏼
Hey what's that toy car have for an engine ? I'd put two old school McCulloch racing chainsaw motors in it .converted to run on alcohol 🔥
79-93. Best cars Ford ever made.
Keep in mind that Ford never made a Fox Body, but they did make a Fox Platform. Hopefully we will see some Pinto’s.

i cant believe for being a ford guy..you snubbed all the galaxies there ...would have loved to see that maroon 67 galaxie or XL that was there
Not a fox body fan. My 69 Mach 1 was my favorite, along with the 70 models.

That Saleen is missing the front bumper filler.....one of the few parts that Saleen still sells....better get it while you can....
They haven't said much about who Conrad is and how he made his millions.

LX 5.0 was faster than GT 5.0 back in the day.
Black and sunroof cobra = LEAST desirable. sorry to break it to you svo have a radio? not a Comp prep.
He didn’t say that HIS SVO was a Comp Prep. Evan was simply pointing out there was also a Comp Prep Pack option.

ridiculous collection!
Without a low mile LX sedan 5.0 5 speed your Fox collection is definitely lacking...
Dude totally pronounced Saleen incorrectly (SUH-lean is correct...not SAY-lean)...how is that even possible at this point?
Had to own one back in the day to get it right myself- but again, that was back in the day.
