That's a great question! I'm not too sure. But if I had to pick one, I would pick an NS Design violin. Ned Steinberger is the "Moog" of the electric violin world :D You get very clean and bold tones, similar to the Moog.
Can you put in links for the products you mention, please? Especially for the 3rd or 2nd setup. Also, probably should mention that Garage Band is not for PCs and if you go looking for it, you're going to get a virus. (It works on Macs, I think.) So maybe a link to alternatives for PCs, please.
