I'm melting too. So glad you enjoyed Hagstone! I'm hoping to finish reading Crooked Plow in the next week too so glad to hear you're so positive about it.

It’s so beautiful! A bit more sombre, but so beautiful.

Leonard and Hungry Paul is one of my favorite books; I treasure it. Looking forward to picking up Ghost Mountain. Still haven’t read Panenka, now that you mention it. Thank you for a great video. Adding Ghost Mountain, Hagstone, and Crooked Plow to my summer reading.

Ooh, I hope you like it! I’m really impressed by how lightly it wears its literariness.

Oh it’s so much fun- it’s absurd and silly, but also so touching and poignant!

Hession has a new book out. Yay! It looks live Oct 2024 is the US release date. I’ve meant to read that other book he’s written too, Panenka. ❤❤. I do need to also read the ARC of Goyhood!

Hagstobe sounds remarkably like Audrey Magee's book "The Colony"

Oh gosh, how did I miss that- there’s a good bit of overlap! But some fun differences too.
