My dad had a Mrk II from 1982 and it was a nice car, more then cabable comperison to a Granada. The Mrk I probably suffered a little bit cause the most atraction was on the bigger Crown, but I remember seing lots of the Mrk II her in Norway in the 80 and 90's.
I have memories of it. My Group Scout Leader had a white 'T'-reg estate. I went in it a few times and remember it as quite a nice car. With just 89 bhp I wonder who this car was competing against if anyone?
My pals mum had a S reg Cressida estate. He borrowed it regularly and always drove flat-ou. My memory of this car is above average reliability/refinement/ and the heater was way better than the fords of that era.

Cressida was popular in Australia.
We had a 2.6l 6 cylinder.
My dad had a 1979 Cressida estate. It was a very solid car and nice to drive. But it ended up rusting away..
Predecessor to the 1983 Camry if I'm not mistaken.
I remember seeing a few Toyota Cressidas in the 1980s and thought they looked bland. The only one I have been in was a minicab in Leeds.
