Nathen Dale is amazing on the guitar. As is Jackie. They sound so great together. I really miss the old days of the Dead 💀 Thanks to the people who keep great music alive!☮️😊✌️🎶
Saw him at the West Coast Festival at Santa Barbara in 2009. He was the third opening for Ziggy Marley, I think, and he just came out of nowhere and absolutely blew me and everyone else away. Really dig his musical style.
Once again I am behind the times and am just discovering Jackie Greene. I feel as excited about his music as I did when I first heard Bruce Springsteen. Hope he shares his gift for many years.
Phil Lesh seems to be such a gracious and laid back dude. He's the legend there on stage and he just acts so ........ normal about it. Just loving playing the music. Great version of this one.
i first became aware of this awesome tune from a Phil and Friends show from 5.8.8 from the Fillmore of Denver ? (Never knew they had one, I guess it's a chain now :-/) anyway i looked into it and found this cat Jackie Green, go man go !!! and since the original showI heard (and listened to earlier today) is from Denver, i'm gonna pick the Bronc's in tomorrows SB vs Seattle !

Phil's a treasure and thanks for introducing Jackie to us back in '07. Nokia run remains a musical 'highlight' for this writer.
