Lol, don't leave us grandparents out. Looking for this for all of our grandkids. Great idea.

Also, any plans to have this available for VTT's like Foundry or Roll20 when we can't all get together in person.

Absolutely! I’m sure DnD Adcenrure club is a great fit!
Also our own Guardians of Getica content is actually designed to work really well for grandparents and grandkids! Check out our playlist for more info.

@sirjohn1 Great question! I’ll see if I can pass along to David and follow up with what I find out.

And by the way. I'm digging the videos on Getica and I especially like the how you bring in the elders into the story. I see so many ways both parents can get involved with their kids. I'm hoping you still have openings for play testing as I would love to help you move this forward when time permits. But until then just chewing through the vids.

@sirjohn1 so happy you’re enjoying it! Definitely still have open playtest spots! You can join via the link in the Guardians of Getica video descriptions. Thanks again for the support!

Great interview! One of the things i appreciate is that the characters stay at 2nd level - which keeps the math and magic pretty simple for kids. We play the three modules that make a story arch and then switch to new characters from the archive. This gives the kids opportunities to experience playing as different classes and they're always excited to get their new character.

I've been a long time fan of D&D but only actually played once or twice. I enjoy listening to sessions and the interactive story. After watching a bunch of Viva La Dirt League's D&D compilations I was wishing there was a young kid friendly way to play with my 10 year old daughter because Rob's storytelling is just so much fun. Google brought me to DnD Adventure Club today and now I'm eagerly awaiting my starter pack :) I'm looking forward to trying my hand at being a DM and maybe helping my daughter get a little group going.
Thanks for publishing this conversation, I feel like we're starting at the right spot!

That’s awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! There’s a lot of great roleplaying game content out there for teens and adults, but the kids content is a little harder to find. DnD Adventure Club is a great way to get started!
I’m also working on a family-friendly campaign setting that you might find helpful. Check out www.guardiansofgetica.com if you’re interested. Thanks again!

I had always wanted to play dnd as a kid but had nobody that wanted to play. Found a local group in September and have been playing since then. I have 3 kids and my eldest (11) has been interested in playing. We started off with adventure begins which she likes to play but was looking for something whole family could do (middle one has sen needs and hubby doesn’t get dnd). Stumbled onto dnd adventure club and it’s just what I needed. I’ve purchased the pdf of the quick start guide and am planning on running the mini campaign at the weekend. I will be printing the pdf so it is a physical media (getting laminated) but being able to get the pdfs is great for me as we are in the uk.
