TESTING SPRAY ON GRIP TAPE!

- Today we are testing out the spray on scooter grip tape called Lucid Grip. This stuff can be really useful if you're looking to build a custom scooter and have your very own sticker-showing grip tape. A lot of people have seen the clear sheets of griptape before, but I think if you're looking for that clear grip look, this is most definitely the way to go. I think this stuff was around $10 on amazon, and you should be able to get 2-3 sheets of grip tape out of it. So if you think about it, that is actually cheaper than most sheets of grip tape today if you were to think of it long term. The only thing I didn't like about the stuff was that the "grippyness" of it seems as though it would wear our after a few hard sessions. Once it does start to wear you can't just swap grip tape, you'd have to re-spray it and I'm not sure how that would turn out beings that you aren't spraying on a clean surface anymore. But the stuff does work and I think it worked pretty well given the circumstances. Looking back, I would have liked to have sprayed the clear coat on and layed down the glass the night before and let it dry in a cooler place than in direct sunlight, but it did work with what I did. But I was able to get a few tricks on the grip tape like quad tailwhip, backflip, flair, bri flip and I also did a few grinds on the handrail at the skatepark. I had a lot of fun while riding the stuff and I also got a few skate park lines on my normal scooter for you guys. Anyways, I've attached a link below for the exact stuff that I got. Hey Ramond because of you I started scootering I'm learning to tail whip and its a lot harder than it seems lol
But I'm trying to drop in but my local skatepark is really small so the ramp selection isn't really the best so the ramps are a lot bigger. do u have any tips for dropping in and overcoming the fear. I can go down pretty big ramps that dont have coping which is still scary but not as bad. Thank u so much and I love your videos :)
How I did it was I went up the ramp nervous the first couple times just looking down at it and then getting off the side but once I just went up thinking I’m gonna do it what’s the worst that can happen and you push yourself to do it, just tell yourself your gonna do it
I have a tip. Try what I did, go on the smallest ramp at the skatepark and just practice the motion and then just full send on the smallest ramp and work your way up to bigger ones
Ok so , you just got to put your foot on the coping one on the deck and lean forward don’t be scared just send it
too many tips for each situation, if you can, find someone who's good and been riding for a while and ask them for tips in each situation, most will be happy to help you learn and share their experiences. Also, if ur thinking about sending something where you could get hurt, don't overthink it, just send it.
