It is funny. Your run to unlock this new feature is exactly the same as mine. First try (with red death and slash arcana), i haven't been able to kill it after 15-20 minutes of trying. It was just growing bigger and bigger. Second try, still with red death and slash arcana but with Knife and Whip evolved also, It died in 15-30 seconds...
I did leda with bounces, limit break, 2 weapons, and magic wand as the second. With always random. He didn't get nearly that big.
I took red for my bone zone run and something strange happened the second i died, the bone ball was insta killed? I was using only the scythe and was only 3ish mins in very unusual
i just did the same exact thing. Taking Red Death running to him and them cuddling him for 30 sec until he died.
Before i had a la borra only weapon run but it just grew and grew
I believe I did the exact same thing. Spooned the bone ball and I got the Scroll.
I shredded the bone wall with bibles. The single target dps on them with projectile speed is insane.
You're so silly, all you had to do is run to the middle of it when it is small, and it gives you the Scroll. It was interesting to see how it evolved and started to kill you. I did this last night with Phierggi, La Bora, Death Spiral, Soul Eater, Infinite Corridor, Crimson Shroud - with Tome and using Red Death w/ 3396 Eggs.
I killed the bone ball on my first attempt with guns, lancet, and laurel fully uograded. I ran right jnto the middle, and it died instantly. I have never seen this growth mechanic. Also be careful, because in a 2nd run, the bone ball bugged out 3 guardians and I wasn't able to recover the eggs.

Oh its simple, you have to be in front of the Ball o Bones. Killing anything that it could roll into. As it heals faster than you damage it. If you let it get bigger, you need insane amount of dps to get him, but at 30 mins? Mathematically improbable.
No Bonzo without Bible and Attractorb for me :) It calls for divine security and fast evolve

Disco of Gold arcana heals you the same amount as the gold you collect.

Did they nerf the guns somehow now that they added projectiles to the evolution?
That is just the effect of the 'Gemini' randomazzo. It gives the evolution a counterpart weapon.

If you dont come in with high enough dps, he absorbs the enemies he touches and gains their HP. Eventually he's so big it gets out of control and is nearly impossible to kill without things like Infinite Corridor.
