That red card was tiddlywinks, watching it again the French no.8 lowered his body so surely there is a mitigating factor. Yellow at worst. I love the banters from the commentator's box: "Well there's the question of whether Ikitau headbutted that French player's forearm, he's gotta go too."
The no.8( names not worth remebering) youd think a concussion test was in order, but no EUROPEAN THEATRICS.. ref was out of order.. warranted a yellow..yeah definitely. HISTORIC OZZY TEST WIN...Congratulations KIWI
Mate, as a Kiwi - we produce the worst refs in the world. That's what I've hated most about Super Rugby Aotearoa - we haven't had the Aussie/Saffa refs.
@@nifokoula1 I think his name is on the long list of potential AB coaches which they rejected. He's no better than Cheika imo....I see no discernible improvement in them....still sloppy and missing the mark. Deans was a failure too.

The stories that No8 is gonna tell his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will be epic. Then they'll see this in their recommendations list🤣🤣
As a kiwi, and All Blacks fan, that was a bs call from the ref, Koribete had a perfect tackle, and as he tackled the French player, the dude started acting seconds later as if it was a soccer game. Wtf was that call.
French number 9 blatantly shoved his forearm on Tate's throat to score a try. I'm so glad to see Tate stood up and even scored a try afterwards, he is a champ.
Calm down Aussies that was a French C side.. But great effort with 14 men anyway, much better than the first two games. Hope they will continue to improve to see a great game against the All Blacks.
Not even gonna argue that the red card was bs (it's too obvious) - but why aren't refs sending players off for Soccer-style dramatics? The dude grabbed his face after getting hit in the chin lol.
On BPA disallowed try, Valetini plays quick a free kick at 5 meters try line after his scrum got 3 consecutives penalties. Another scrum was the right call...
There is only one name to remember and that is Dave Rennie. what he has done with these players who had just finished a bizarre super rugby season is amazing and unbelievable. the real game lies ahead with the All Blacks. lets see what happens there. hope Rennie will prevail over Foster coz he deserves all the glory.
They're terrible. Sorry but they'll be lucky to win a game in the RC. Argentina seem to be going alright, All Blacks will walk over the Aussies based on what I saw as long as they can stay consistent. Springboks will just walk over their scrum. Very lucky to win this series against a heavily understrength French squad
Don't know much about this French outfit but I think the Wallabies are better prepared than their counterpart from across the Tasman, whom have rotated their players during their last 3 games against Tonga and Fiji. But as you say, time will tell. But true, Rennie did an amazing job - and kudos to the players, they ground out a tough match playing with 14 men. That's one hell of a gutsy performance. @@realjt6951 Well, the Wallabies didn't have their more experienced players like O'Connor and Nic White (just to name a few) either in this series, so what makes you think France is "heavily understrength"? I agree that Australia still have a lot of work to do if they want to compete with the likes of NZ or South Africa, but these young Wallabies have all the right to celebrate winning this match with only 14 men on the field for pretty much the whole game against France who technically is ranked higher than Australia in the world ranking.

Red card under the rules. See similar hits by Bundee Aki, SBW that also got red carded. Ref was just applying the law. Bottom line is players have to lower their tackle height not to risk making any contact to the head and getting sent off.

And also was their captain!!
The French seriously watch too much football. The way they argue with the ref, take dives 🙄
