Simple yet great advice on mixing units. Especially when you play against zerg this is so easy to quickly switch the composition of the army. One wave of Roach-heavy army. Second Wave may be of Ling-heavy army. third Hydra+whatever. Not to mention that a few lings make it so much harder for zealots to connect well. So there are great synergies. not only mind game. Do not make it too simple for your opponent to prepare a hardcounter.
M3, but I think the MMR is closer to D1/high D2, and I feel as though the gameplay is closer to D1/high D2 as well. Awesome stuff Neuro thx for the upload
I have fought myself before, too, the thing is accounts could be the same but the #number can be different, unless they have changed that, I haven't touched this game in some years.
I was surprised how neuro didn’t suggest him to use control groups. I mean how many times did I win using a backstab hotkey. But hey, neuro is a very respectful player and coach. Gotta give him credit for that
Better to help the student execute their own plan better than to try and force your method upon them. I’d 100% encourage control groups as it opens up a lot of options you wouldn’t have with F2, but at the same time you can get to GM with F2 only so it’s not a hard requirement to use control groups to rank up.
@@NeuroZerg oh god. Now I feel even worse about my own performance. You can have no idea how to make engagements and don't use control groups and still be a masters 3 player.
Love the coaching vids!
Lots of great nuggets in this one, well done as always!

Yep, a well rounded army is harder to counter than all one unit

Oh placement in D1/M3 requires much more analysis, let's talk about it. You could be a little more pedantic
We have similar mmr. My unit composition and flights are better than you, but I'm always floating 2k minerals haha
This guy is m3. Played him before. He’s doesn’t play like a d2 player😂
Wow, this is crazy. I'm fairly sure I've played against "thedoyle". Small world.
No just a smaller sc2 player base unfortunately

Loved this, thanks. You should probably put your coaching rate, availability and how to get it in these videos
That's a great idea!
is he Agent Smith? :D
Beautiful ! Neuro is such an amazing coach, please keep sharing these type of videos!!! PS : games look like Diamond 3 level games IMHO.
Is roach infestor even a viable composition? Infestors just get stuck behind roaches, don't they?
@@abyrvalg_ I can't think of a world where I would want my Infestors in front of my Roaches.
I wouldn’t say it’s very good, you want some higher damage units in the mix like banes or ravagers - fungal and roaches are both low dps
@@NeuroZerg yeah, roach-bane is quite strong.
What? This is Masters 3? No wonder he doesn't make ravagers, it is tough to use spellcasters if you F2 the whole time.
@@abyrvalg_ ya, just having 2 control groups can make a world of difference.
